hi guys

i took up running sometime ago in order to get fit , i was at 137 pouinds then .

recently i got injured from running(runner`s knee) and in the span of 2months , i have gained 9% bodyfat

now i`m at 130pounds with 21% bodyfat , i was at 121 pounds at 12% bf , is this sudden increase in bf normal?

even though i stopped running , i still do weights , resistance , climbing up stairs and other less impact full exercises .

i also lead a clean diet , no coke , low fat , low GI food.

but i seem to gaining bf for no reason , is having that much bf healthy for my weight?

please advice? thanks for any help

Even though you lead a clean diet, if you were running alot, you were burning additional calories. If your caloric intake didn't change and you were still consuming the same amount of cals then yes its normal. Your no longer burning additional calories but still eating the same amount of food. Completely understandable why you would gain, if this scenario is the case.
