go get'um man! What kinda numbers you putting up currently? I am more that double your weight and use to lift with a guy who was about 125, he was amazing, pretty crazy guy upstairs though. I think it helped him lift more

Posted by: Deeznuts

Numbers are posted in my journal. But my personal bests are:

Squat: 315 (@ Meet w/ wraps and suit)
Bench: 215 (Raw, not at meet)
Deadlift: 360 (Meet)

Posted by: plouffe

That isn't too bad.

Posted by: X Ring

awesome man! keep up the good work

Holy crap! And you only weigh 114?!?!

Those numbers are awesome. Post pics of the trophy.

Man, with numbers like those at 114, i can't imagine what you'll be putting up when you bulk up

No shit, Deeznuts is one serious MOFO!!

Posted by: Marble

your lucky man, im short too, im about 5'7. it helps for alot, i barely have to pull the weight up for deadlift, and short arms helps for bench too. im 180 and puttin up a little over 305. lookin good.

Posted by: X Ring

you short limbed people are bastards

Posted by: camarosuper6

very impressive stats for 114 lbs!

Posted by: CowPimp

I've seen very few people that lightweight put up weights like that. You squat and dead more than me and I weigh 200 pounds. Granted, being 6 foot doesn't help, but still!

Does strength really increase noticeablly when bulking? I was wanting to get a lost stronger in the offseason and hopefully compete in the 123.5's next year.

Heck yeah it does. If you gain 10 lbs, even if some of it is fat, your lifts will go up, probably about 10-15 lbs.

Those numbers are awesome. You are close to achieving what very few have. A double bodyweight bench press.

Posted by: Deeznuts

That's what i've been trying to achieve. I'll be keeping track of all my lift maxes in the off season and will try to reach this goal.

Posted by: IronSlingah

Yeah short people have an easier time BB. Lucky biotches.

Posted by: Deeznuts

I've never thought of myslef as lucky because I was short. This is the only thing it's ever been helpful in lol Now I wish I was even shorter...

Any comments on the pics though? I know they aren't great, but i'm open to any ideas or comments.

Lookin good bro but aren't you into powerlifting...and not BB? in other words, more concerned w/strength than muscle?

Either way, Those are some good #'s for only 114lb.

How old are you? I'm guessing around 15. Honestly dude, you got something great in BB going for ya. i wish i was as into it/knowledgable at 15 as i am now, shit, i'd be a monster haha. My point is, its great your starting so early, you basically struck gold kid. Stay dedicated, eat your face off and lift with some intensity, and by the time your 21, you're gonna be a monster, strength and sizewise

Posted by: Deeznuts

I'm actually 17 - I know it hardly seems possible for someone weighing 114 pds. to be that old.

And body building was my original passion and still is. I just do powerlifting to get a little recognition. I apply many bodybuilding workouts and dieting techniques during to my everday life just because I love it. I'm attempting to build a good physique while continuing to gain a reasonable ammount of strength.

Posted by: JerseyDevil

I think its an excellent idea to mix powerlifting and BBing. While gain strength, mass usually follows, so PLing is great while on a bulk.

Posted by: bludevil

Nice job dude, those numbers are awesome.

Posted by: SkinnyKid

how long you been liftin?

Posted by: GSXR750

Its little hercules, Congrats you have awesome results for that age. You take any supplements. You'd make an awesome mini-me.

Posted by: Sean0621

You're gonna be huge in a couple of years man, I can't wait to see some pics of ya when ya hit 160lbs. Just keep at it man, you're doin a great job so far.

Posted by: Spitfire

Speaking of Little Hurcules, has anyone seen that one kid that his parents started training him at like 3 years old and now his was like european or somthing?

Posted by: myCATpowerlifts

err no?

Posted by: GSXR750

Yeah, I saw him on the Howard Stern show a few weeks ago.
The kid is like 7 or 8 and can supposedly bench 200. They said his diet is nothing but fruit & veggies plus protein supplements.

Hell yes, that's one scary ass 8 year old!

Meet Results:

Due to several mistakes in bench and squat I had to come in on just dominate deadlift. I cleared 345, 365. I had to get 390 to get third. My coach and I decided to put it all on the line. I got it halfway up and blacked the hell out. Dropped me down to sixth. Went home with only a "state qualifer" plaque. Oh well, it's been a great season and i'm proud of myself to have made it this far. Day in and day out I never trained to be better - I trained to be the best. I did all I could and I am excited about beginning a bulk in preparation for next year's season! Thank you all for showing interest.

lol, 365 is still a shitload of weight. more than 3 times your bodyweight.

whatd your other numbers look like?

I list all my supplements in my Journal Since i've started seriously training i've noticed best results from Glutamine, diet, and creatine. I'm a fan of Swole V2! It's given me some good strength gains.

Thanks man.

I only managed to get one of each of my three attempts in bench and squat! SAD.

Bench: 195
Squat: 315

Should've gotten a lot more in both.

Posted by: Flex

are you trying to stay lean/at a certain bodyweight?

cuz if not, if i were you i'd just eat everything in sight, and i mean everything. cuz your bf is already low, so why not try to get BIG...your strength will go up as well.

Posted by: Deeznuts

Up until yesterday I was trying to stay at or below 114.5. I actually weighed in at 112.6 (lightest ever!). But im going to start a bulk next week and see how much gains I can get in the off season.

Posted by: myCATpowerlifts

dont get to crazy with bulk, if you get to fat then
you weight class will be high and your strength will be

on par with the class below you

and if you were to cut you would lose strength and muscle so...

Posted by: Deeznuts

This shouldn't be a real hard problem I'm an extremely hardgainer. My metabolsim acts at the speed of light.

Posted by: Big Smoothy

Keep us posted Deez, your numbers are awesome.
