I bought some Arrowhead brand Buckwheat pancake mix for the high carb day on TP's diet. Is this stuff only ok one time per high carb day or can I have it more often. They are AWESOME tasting.
Ingredients: Organic buckwheat flout, organic whole grain wheat flour, organic soymilk powder, baking powder, and some BS ingredients for consistancy I suppose.
Also, can I have on low carb days?

IMO that pancake mix would be fine yes. Jodi will say for sure though.

Buckwheat is great IMO - Defiantely for high carb days. Those pancakes are soooooo yummy
On low carb days, personally I would stick with Oats and Brown rice. Feel free to give it a try though and if you notice progress slowing down then I would stick with the buckwheat on high carb days only.

clhelget,
How do you mix the Buckwheat pancakes? Just like regular pancakes or does the package ask for any other additional ingredients?

I mix with 1tbsp of olive oil, some mashed up strawberries (only a few) and one egg and water.

i love that buckwheat mix from arrowhead, i use just the water and 2 egg whites, the state per serving are very similar to that of oatmeal, they are very tasty especially with a strawberry/banana topping that i make
