hey guys, yes its the QG again !!! lol...
anyway.......i have been thinking about something lateley, i have been in bodybuilding for a long time now (not as long as some of the pros here) but i defenently fit in the "advanced" section......well, last time i had my protein shake i threw up alll over the kitchen floor, i am soooo sick of protein powders and they taste alll the same to me since i have been taking them for so many years.... anyways.... i have been thinking about replacing my protein intake with "with thin sliced deli turkey"
25 slices= 300 calories
10g Sugar
7.5g Fat
and the best of ALL 45 GRAMS of PROTEIN
so i know this would be for someone who is on a bulk and not a cut, but you got to addmit it sure is a good replacement Protein for people who have the same "taste" as I do.... im planing to use this way of protein intake for a while untill my stomach can handle being around protein powders and not drive me crazy....
PS: does anyone know of any "protein pills" i thought i saw some somewhere..............
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THIS ???????

Well, if you aren't concerned with sodium, go ahead.

Protein from the meat WONT be digested as quickley as whey. Therefor it is not as beneficial post workout. Try a different flavor of protein. I am going to try the blend from www.nuclearnutrition.com next.

yo questionguy, have you tried to add other stuff to your shake to make it taste better?
I usually try to make my shakes close to smoothy's by adding fruits...
or if i have chocolate flavor i try to make them into a milk shae (not best idea) but it gets the job done for protein intake

besides your pwo shake you really dont need to drink whey...real food beats protien powder any day...i only end up pounding protien 2 times a day...one post workout, and one for the part of my day where cooking a meal isnt possible...

I had the same problem. I used to really like Universal's Milk and Egg protein (vanilla)...now I can't stand the taste - let alone the smell of it! I have now switched to Optimum Nutrition's Egg protein (chocolate).
Anyway, you can also try chicken. If you look around, you can find big bags of chicken that have 40+ grams of protein per breast.

yeah, thanx guys, i just cant stand no more protein for a whileq, i have been doin this for soo long i just got sick of it, ( i mean protein not lifting).....

Ya know, it'll probably be cheaper to buy a big bag of chicken than to buy thin sliced turkey from the deli.
