M1T/Etched for Men Cycle

I am going to start a low-dose PH cutting cycle and keep a log starting April 2. The protocol is:

Weeks 1-2: 5mg M1T (ULabs), 1 ED
Weeks 2-5: Etched for Men (BSL hydroxytest/7-oxo transdermal--like absovled but with H-Test added), approx. 100mg of 7-oxo and 95mg. HTest ED
Weeks 6-9: PCT

I'm not going to change my diet (been in a cut for two months), and I'm not adding or subtracting any supps from what I currently take which is:

Syntrax XXX (Coleus Forskohlii)
1 ECA daily
5gms Creatine
4gms+ Arginine
7 Keto DHEA oral
Multi-Vit, Flax oil

The reason I'm not changing anything is b/c I have been on this regimn for long enough to establish a baseline from which to compare the effects of low-dose M1T and Etched. I just bought a bodyfat monitor, so I can watch everything carefully. I can't afford bloodtest unfortunately (are there any piss strips you can buy that test for certain levels?)

I guess I only have a few questions:

1. I've read that low-dose (5mg ED) M1T for two weeks shouldn't require PCT. But I'm also aware of how strong M1T is, and what it can do (so I've got Nolva onhand). Is 6-OXO sufficient for something this low? I ask b/c there isn't a lot written about hydroxytest PCT, and a lot about high-dose M1T PCT, but not for what I am asking.

2. I have searched everywhere and can only find one review for Etched for Men (on BSL website), and would very much like to hear from anyone who's tried it, as trandermermal HTest is a novel approach.

3. At such a low dose of M1T, should I buy any other supps to counteract sides (4ad, saw palmetto, etc.) or is that something I don't need to worry about at this dose?

4. There is an extensive thread on the "M1T Flu" at ana****minds. It seems that M1T compromises the immune system to a degree. Is this a real concern?

Hopefully my tests (no pun intended) can help others out with their decisions.

My goals are to lose about 4 more % b.f. (currently @ 15/16), drop the abdominal pudge, and in the very least maintain my current lifts.

I doubt you will notice much from a 2 week M1T cycle of 5mgs, you may want to do 5mgs the first few days and see how you react then look at increasing to at least 10mgs. I also believe that 3-4 weeks of M1T works much better than 2 weeks.

4-AD works great stacked with M1T, but if you're cutting it's not the best choice for a stack.

I do not know what Etched for Men is?

6-OXO is okay, I am currently using both 6-OXO and Dermabolics E-Form (a transdermal version of 6-OXO basically).

Yeah, i know not to expect a lot from 2 weeks of M1T @ 5mg. It's my first M1T cycle, so I'm being careful b/c I'm really sensitive to some things.

I was hestitant to add 4AD since I'm cutting, and also since the M1T is only @ 2 weeks.

But you'd say definitely go 3 weeks on the M1T?

Etched for Men really looked cool to me, becuase it's like Ab-Solved plus a Hydroxtest Transdermal. Black Star Labs makes it. I'd never seen hydroxy in a transdermal.

I guess I'll be the guinea pig here for Etched!

One thing I can say is that using M1T past 4 weeks did nothing for me personally, other than side effects, and going above 20mg's did nothing more except increase side effects, especially muscle cramping.

So, my next cycle will be M1T 20mg's for 4 weeks, stacked with 4-Derm 5 sprays AM & PM, followed by 3-4 weeks of E-Form 6 sprays AM & PM.

I appreciate your response--I know no one likes to answer ANOTHER q about M1t, but my scenario is different.

Just curious, did you see significant sides @ 15mg? What about teh M1T flu?

I did an alternate 4 week cycle of m1-t at 4 weeks and 4 weeks for me also seemed to be the limit to where my gains started to get stagnant and I was ready to come off.

I would recommend something similar to Prince. Dont forget Liver Support during the PCT.

I just got done with a 2 wk stint on M1T. I am happy with the results. Definitely use the 4derm to combat lethargy.

Like you, I am very sensitive to drugs, etc. I gained about 12lbs of weight in 2 weeks. My pumps were huge, and I ate like a horse too. I ate about 200 grams of protein each day, and nearly 3000 calories.

I was tired as hell at night. I was really beat for about an hour in the morning. I took 4derm 5 sprays with my coffee..lol Then I took my one tab of M1T at about 3pm and worked out at 4. I am doing PCT for 2 weeks three 3oxo tabs (300mg) per day. That should do it.

I may take the M1t at night next cycle. I also am contemplating going up to 10mg. I would take it slow though. I cannot reitterate how it kicked my butt.

I was just selected to be a tester of MRM Muscle Pump, so this cycle is going to have to be postponed!

I just got a bodyfat monitor and some other great testing stuff, so when I can do this cycle, it will be very accurately reported.

Probably just the usual precautions regarding transdermals and skin irritation. USE GLOVES WHEN YOU APPLY, esp. if you wear contacts!

Since the actives are 7-OXO/7-KETO and Hydroxytest, you're not looking at many sides, if any.

I am really excited to try this stuff...I've got about 10 more days on the Metabolic Pump test, then I'm starting my cutting cycle posted here.

Well, they say to put it where you want results, but the carrier gel this is meant for systemic uptake, so you want to apply it anywhere that will maximize uptake, i.e. tops of feet, back of knees...places w/o hair and not much fat.

The only "localized" anti-fat topical is Lipoderm-Y, and it uses a different delivery method, preventing systemic uptake and sending the actives directly into the area it's applied to.

You can understand my confusion if you ask the same questions I did:

If you're seeking to raise basal metabolic rate via T3 action, you're seeking a systemic uptake, correct?

Why does the site specific carrier alone cost twice as much as Etched?

Why do other site specific products cost much more than Etched, when HydroxyTest is more expensive than 1T and certainly 4AD?

Isn't the research behind localized delivery of Hydroxytest inconclusive?


My own answers to these questions led me to formulate my opinion. If I was wrong, please forgive.

no clue, they aren't really unless they are 120ml vs. 60

Okay, I just finished testing MRM Metabolic Pump (I recommend it--you can read my log in the Online Journal section), and began my Etched/M1T cycle on May 1.

Here are my beginning measurements:
Ht: 5'11'
Wt: 191
BF%: 14.1%

Here is my dosing protocol:

Week 1
M1T, 5mg ED, before bed
Etched, 1 application daily
CardioGuard (CoQ10, Hawthorn, Taurine, Milk Thistle, Vitamin B6)

Week 2
M1T, 5mg ED, before bed (may bump to 10 if no sides)
Etched, 2 applications daily

I will update at least every other day.

So far I've only had one workout (Monday). I did 21 sets chest and 15 biceps. Way intense. Hit 230x6 on Hammer Wide Iso Press, no problem. Biceps exploded. I'm lucky to hit four reps with 50lb. dumbells, and I easily hit 6 on my third set (I pyramid up from 40).

Today is Legs and Shoulders. I will post details following.

It's only been three days, but no sides, save a dull ache in my nads that comes and goes, and increased urination. No lethargy at all-->in fact, I have more energy than usual.

The Etched does not irritate my skin at all, nor does it stain. It has a very strong, almost noxious odor when you put it on, so I suggest spraying it in a n open area. My small, enclosed bathroom became a gas chamber. I use rubber gloves to rub it in and prevent getting it in my eyes (I wear contacts). It seems completely absorbed within five minutes.

I am using UL M1T, by the way. Much more to come.

Oh, and I haven't been able to check BP yet, since none of the Pharmacies near me have a free machine. I can check my pulse, though, and there hasn't been any change, and I am a semi-competitive runner with very low BP, so I'm not terribly worried. I will check ASAP, though.

Also, I droped my ECA use to lower chance of BP sides.

Lastly, I'm not going to be running bloodwork, b/c it would cost more than my cycle and my monthly gym dues...sorry!

NOTES:
I noticed the lack of a pre-workout drink today, as I was using Metabolic Pump prior to lifting for the past 17 days. I'm going to start drinking one of my homebrew pre-wo drinks, as I can really tell the difference.

That said, I breezed through pretty a high volume day, 17 sets legs and 13 shoulders. The only downside was a tiredness (which didn't effect my ability to move weight, just my focus), which could be the lethargy, I don't know. I also felt nauseous today after my more intense sets. Could be the fact that I ate a bunch of carrots and an apple before working out, not sure.

So as far as sides go, all I have to report is a marked decrease in appetite, and possibly some lethargy, but I'm not sure about that. Otherwise, the only side effect is the ability to lift more weight and recover more quickly!

Also, oddly enough, though my weight is up a bit, my belt is one notch looser today?! Not a "sucking it to make it fit," loose, but a realization that when I put on my pants, I'm on the last belt notch, which hasn't been used (easy to tell).

Tuesday May 11, Day 11

Weight: 199

(This represents a LBM gain of about two pounds)

Okay, I decided to bump up the M1T to 10mg for this week, starting today. I also am continuing Etched at 2 applications a day. I am going to up the Etched to 3 applications a day following cessation of M1T to take advantage of the anti-estrogenic properties.

I am looking more defined and vascular. I have lost nearly an inch off of my waist, and gained over a .25 on my arms.

I'm not going to post all of my lifts over the past week, but here are some highlights:

Bench: Up 10 pounds on flat bench, 20 pounds on Hammer Iso Wide
Dumbell Curls: Up 5 pounds and more reps
Squats: Up 20 pounds
Low Lat Row: Up 20 pounds



SIDE EFFECTS:

Lethargy hasn't been much of a probelm as long as I take the M1T before bed and get a good night sleep. Now that I am taking mid-day as well, I can feel it a bit, but not bad at all.

Zero sexual side effects...I am actually way more horny than usual.

I got a very small rash from the Etched yesterday, and just roatated application sites, and applied some Aloe to the rash, and it's already going away.

The only real sides are the oft-reported back cramps. I ran a mile on the treadmill tonight and got serious lower-back cramping 4 minutes in. Then when I was shopping tonight, I reached way back into the milk cooler to grab some cottage cheese, and my trap locked up something fierce. I massaged it down, but had this fear that I would fall over in the store clutching my back in pain! I even took 1.5 grams of Taurine before working out. I am going to invesitgate other solutions, and up my water in take to 1.5 gallons.

Prince, I thought you spoke highly of M1T?
I myself have been on a 2 week cycle of 15mg and other than what seems to be a possible better pump and maybe a bit more drive and energy....didn't really do much. I am wondering if the product was a hoax. I know how people can experience different reactions to products, but not that much of a difference. It really surprised me by reading Bulk Nutricians websites testimonials on the product. The majority claiming that the product added 10-15 pounds of body weight in just 2 weeks and like 25-30 lbs of added strength to their bench. I sure didn't seem to exerience even close to that. Sure wish I did.
What's your feed on that Prince?

My weight is holding steady at 199, and my lifts are up, but the back cramps are too much for me. I am going to drop back down to 5mg. tommorrow.

Today I took 4 grams of Taurine in Gatorade, ate a bannana, drank a ton of water, strecthed out, and STILL got the back cramps like clockwork @ 4:00 of running. I toughed it out for a mile, and then tried stretching my back and almost fell over! It was that bad. I have a race on Sunday (just a 5k), so I'm dropping the dosage, and will wrap the M1T part of my cycle on Friday.

I also noticed that I do get lethargic if I take the M1t in the middle of the day...again, very predictable, like clockwork it hits about 45 to an hour after ingestion. This time I popped a ECY pill about 2 hours after the M1T and it balanced out the lethargy.

I am very much wanting to get more bang from the M1T-->I'm sort of considering going with a 4AD transdermal during the next two weeks and then extending my cycle for another 2 weeks with the 4AD and M1T. Of course, this would mean my "cutting" cycle is no longer cutting it, but I already feel a bit bloated, and figure I might as well maximize my gains, now that I am supressed.

Any thoughts on this?

This would be the resulting cycle, if I change up:

Week 1:
Ecthed, 1 application, M1T 5mg
Week 2:
Etched, 2 applications, M1T 10 mg
Week 3:
Etched, 3 applicatons, 4AD
Week 4:
Etched, 1 application, 4AD
Week 5:
4AD, M1t, 5mg

4AD, M1t 10mg (maybe)
Week 7-10:
PCT (as detailed above, including Nolva, Tribulus, and others)

I have two bottles of the BSL carrier matrix and 10 grams of 4AD from 1fast.

I got no lethargic reactions from M1T/ 4 AD 15mg... No side affects either that I noticed. And had no back cramps like people been complaining about. I did notice small loss of hair (few strands) where I never had any hair loss in the past.. And I'm not talking about getting a bald spot or anything . I have a full head of hair, always have. Just that I heard the M1T can cause you to loose a little hair as a side affect, but that will stop after the cycle.

Well, I most likely am going to front-load 4AD for two weeks during the end of the Ethced, and then add the M1T at the end to see if the combo has less sides. If I'm not doing cardio, the cramps don't bother me, but I run a lot, and I can't be cramping up.

Weight is holding steady at 199.

What appeared to be bloating now looks like solid muscle in the mirror when I’m working out. The M1T definitely works, no doubt.

I measured my arms today--I am a full half inch bigger on both arms! I whipped out the tape b/c I just looked thicker, more dense today. My definition in the chest and stomach region has gone to pot, so I'm definitely holding water (or fat), but I am much more solid.

I did back and triceps today. Great workout-->no back cramps at all (I only seem to get them from cardio). All lifts are up about 10%. My triceps were unstoppable. I did 19 sets and still had gas left over.

It looks like by the time I drop the M1T I will be up about 3 pounds of LBM-->this on below-maint. calories and just 5mg per day (10mg for three days).

So far I have learned a lot about M1T on this cycle.

I don't think it's the best for cutting, at least with my physiology. I don't see a drop in BF as being one of the main effects, but it definitely packs on mass quickly. I'd really like to stack this with 4AD and do it right.

Oh, one other thing, I’m having to get used to the aggression and weird mood changes from the M1T. I can handle it. I can’t imagine taking 20mg ED of this stuff...or more, like some do!

So...I'm sort of thinking about adding 4AD when I drop this M1T, frontloading the 4AD for two weeks, and then doing another 2 weeks of M1T...my rationale is that if I'm already supressed, it's not going to make a huge difference in my abiltiy to recover post-cycle...any thoughts?

In the time I last spoke to you I realized one thing. This stuff is definately working for me now. I didn't have access to a scale for a few days. I started M1T weighing 224 2 weeks ago. After accessing a scale today I found I am weighing in at 231. I have almost gained a sold 10 lbs of weight. My muscles are tighter with intense pump, and I feel like I have actually lost fat.

Now one other individual on the board I have been in contact with has claimed after taking M1T and getting a blood test shortly after he noticed his HDL levels were low and liver enzymes elevated. I told him that is probably normal since he didn't really give his body a chance to recoupe after taking the M1T. In other words I think he took the blood test to early. But he was only taking 10mgs.. I'm taking 15. But it is pleasing to know how much weight I am gaining off the stuff. Oh, and I know it is not from eating. I have still been on my cutting diet.

Yeah-->M1T seems to add mass no matter what!

Well, today is the last day of the M1T part of my cycle. Weight still 199 this morning. Had a solid workout, 17 sets legs, 15 shoulders, and cardio, but the energy just wasn't there. I have been contemplating adding 2 more weeks of M1t in two weeks, but today decided against it. My lower back tightened up again during squats. It pissed me off. I can move more weight right now, but I don't like how I feel. I'm going to go ahead and do my PCT and then try something else. Next time I do M1T, I'm going to definitely use 4AD the whole time, and probably run 3-4 weeks.

In regards to the Etched, I originally said it doesn't stain-->learned today that this is incorrect. If you sweat within six hours of application, the stuff will stain white shirts. Turned mine a brownish/orange color over the application areas.

I personally wouldn't take less than 10mg. Even my healthfood store guy recommended 10mg and he has always leaned toward the reserved (safety side).

Just wanted to add some more info to this thread. I'm on fourth day opf 40mg. Nolva, dropping down to 20mg soon. It seems to make my nipples hard all day, and also I am having libido issues now--which is strange, b/c I had none while "ON" the M1T.

First, since I never really measure them much, I didn't notice right away, but I think I gained a whole INCH on my forearms! No kidding! I'm starting to look like Popeye. My traps also gained quite a bit of size, as I realized when I put on a tight t-shirt.

Second, M1T stays in your system for awhile after you stop taking it. I'm still having the back cramping sides (although not as severe) and I stopped taking the pills four days ago. I ran a 5K on Sunday (about three days after last dose) and I got the cramps, but ran through it. Had a pretty crappy time, though. I would say it's almost impossible to do any real athletics while on M1T. I really don't like it for this reason, b/c I don't feel healthy.

Third, once the belly bloat from M1T disappeared, I lost an inch from my waist! No change in BF or weight, just an inch less?! For this reason, I would say that you're probably not going to see a lot of results if you stack a transdermal fat buster w/ M1T unless you keep using it after the M1T is done.

So, as everyone has said, M1T is a very strong androgen! I wouldn't recommend it for a cutting cycle, I would stay away from any athletics/running if you're taking it.

Etched seemed to be doing nothing except giving me a rash, but now seems to have helped me lose an inch off my waist. I have another bottle I am going to use w/ my next stack. I think it is an excellent "stacking" product, just not with M1T.

Thanks for the info Brodus....

I'm running onto my 3rd week now with M1T and have dropped from 15mg to 10mg. I plan on running it through my 4th week with 10mg. No side affects yet. Since I am not a runner and don't do much cardio, it seems to have been working well.. My pumps have been hard as a rock. Outside of the weight gain though and the severe pumps, I still have not noticed substantial strength gains....but gaining 12 pounds in 2 weeks is pretty amazing. I will finish off after 4 weeks with 6-oxo and report my weight results.. I measured my arms today and am pushing a strong 18 inch plus... I am still hoping to surpass my 300lb bench goal as well. If I can do that, I can say this stuff most definately has increased my strength.. I seemed to be at a 270lb barrier for some time now, but had slacked on benching in the last couple months too. We'll see what happens..

Adding some more info about my post cycle.

I've been on Nolva 40mg ED for just shy of a week.

Also Tribulus, Milk Thistle, Saw Palmetto, NAC, and ZMA twice a day.

I also started Creatine again on Tuesday, which is when I stopped the Etched.

Amazingly, not only have I maintained everything I gained, I'm actually still gaining like mad. I am up to 202, and all of my lifts are up, and my pumps are insane. The only thing I'm missing from being "on" is the volume. Right now I'm getting 11 solid sets vs. 16. Other than that, no loss. On the last day of my M1T and the frist couple of Nolva, my balls looked smaller-->more like my scrotum was perpetually "tight." That has passed, too.

So I started at 191 less than three weeks ago and today I am at 202, with only about 2 pound fat gain.

I agree with many other posts, that proper PCT and post-cycle nutrition/training decisions mean everything when it comes to keeping your gains made from PH/PS.
