Okay, one last carb cycling question

Okay, I'm starting next week, taking an off week this week to ease into it.
I remember that someone mentioned that I should take an additional no carb day to get into the diet....so this Sunday I should have a no carb, then:
no/low/high/no/low/high/no?
Also, is no/low/high the correct order? Or low/no/high? Would someone also be kind enough to relist what the approved fruits are, and recommended portions?
I appreciate all the help, I'm about to get shredded to the bone on this, though I'm only planning on cutting for six or seven weeks. There is no need for me to hit 4 or 5% this year, getting down to around 8 would be good enough for me. I'm presently at around 12.
Peace.

High/Low/No
And yeah, IMO, its a good to stack two 'no' days together right before you start the diet.
So your week starting monday would look like this:
no/high/low/no/high/low/no
You want 50-100 cals from a piece of fruit with every carb meal. Do not use any calorically dense fruit, like bananas. I prefer apples - i eat 1/2 - 3/4 of an apple with every carb meal.

Do the 2 no carb days then you want your cycle
High/Low/No repeat
Any fruit will do save for melons, pinapple, grapes & banana's. 1/2 lg. apple, 4 lg. Strawberries, 1/2 orange, 1 plum, 1 clementine etc.

I thought melons were great because they don't have anything in them but water?!

water and very high in sugar

i know you and leslie had this question early on...
i think you were initially counting the carbs in the fruit towards your low carb day total and TP said not to. right? or was it the other way around?
fruit carbs count on low carb day or don't count toward your total?
thanks!

You don't count your fruit towards your carb count at all. It's only a small piece and should be no more than 10-15G carbs anyway.

So the moral of the story is that you are or are not allowed the fruit and veggies you want on a low/ no carb day?
Posted by: Premo55
^^ How on earth did you deduce that?
Peace.
Posted by: nikegurl
did you read the article? no fruit on no carb days. 1/2 piece of fruit with your carb meals only on low and high carb days. green veggies 3-4 meals a day.

I'm sorry Premo/nikegurl - I didn't understand. I am allowed green veggies 3-4 meals a day on the low/no carb days?
Posted by: nikegurl
yep - you should have green veggies on your low and no carb days.

Exactly right, life would really suck without my veggies.
Peace.
