Upgrading to New VBulletin?

I am just wondering if IM is planning on upgrading the entire board to the upgraded version of VBulletin?

I like this version too, but the new version definitely grows on you, trust me.

I think some of the color schemes here could use some revamping too...

the problem is I have this version extremely customized, so it will be at least a few months before I upgrade, I have to wait for a few of the hacks to get written for vB3 that I use on this version.

I made many modifications on this version to make it look like vB3 and some of the features.

Yeah I definitely like the way things are here at IM. The way that the usernames are in the center of the side column, etc. I mean there's a lot of little things that I for one definitely notice about this site.

I was just saying that I think the colors could use some redoing that's all. Not even the grey and light grey post colors, just the borders. The greyish purple I guess it is seems somewhat gloomy IMO. Just my $.02.

EF.com upgraded to vB3 GOLD. I fucking hate the cartoonish look. Total gayness.

I also like these "grayish" colors here. It is easy on the eyes.

I am assuming that you're talking about EliteFitness.com, correct? Keep in mind that the new vbulletin can be customized. It can really be made to look a LOT like the way IM looks now.

also, vB3 was in beta testing for a looooong time, and it just recently went "gold" (final release) but I guarantee they will be putting out new versions monthly for the next 6-12 months... vB 3.0.1, 3.0.2, 3.0.3, etc.

So, I want to wait until it gets more stable, cause once I upgrade I will have to install many custom mods, those have to be reinstalled after every upgrade.

Completely agree, it drives me nut , and there are too many posts so I dont go there

Oh okay, yeah that does look really dumb with all the lock pictures to the left of the forum titles. Need to keep things looking good but not all cartoonish.
