Here we go.

Ok peoples, I am stocking up so I can get in shape.
Whats yer average food budget? I usually try to stay between $100-150 per month.

Posted by: aggies1ut

I can easily do that in 2 days....And Costco, oh lord....

Posted by: PreMier

Heh.. 80$ a week, and I shop at costco

Posted by: calalily1972

250 week for 2 of us.

And he eat 75% of that. No fair!

Posted by: tryintogetbig

i ususally spend $120-$160(its higher when i by steaks)
mostly i eat chicken and ground lean turkery

Posted by: JLB001

About $500 to $600 a month. That isn't eatting out either.

I love the grocery store when walking in and I fxxxing hate it walking out. I try to go with as much cheap stuff as I can. Chicken breast now days is like buying filet-mingon. Brown rice is cheap and so is tuna.

Posted by: Prince

Just food, I would say we (me, wife, and kid) spend around $800.00/month.

Posted by: calalily1972

Not fair living with a pure ecto. I swear he eats almost $50.00 in food a day and its not even always clean food either.

Posted by: GSXR750

Im at $400.- a month, and I still use my winn dixie card, however I go to publix for meats.

Posted by: Fit Freak

I usually need about $600 a month to cover ME...I try to eat clean all year...just LOTS of clean stuff....cost adds up very quickly. This obviously doesn't include eating out...BUT I don't do that much anyway.

Is this a canned tuna, Top Ramen diet? lol

Posted by: Pierzin

aggies1ut,

No, this is not a canned tuna and ramen diet. it's a save as much as I can diet.
In addition to training, I'm a digital arts freak-geek, and my computer is getting too old to run a lot of programs anymore. So I'm saving for a new one, and dont want to settle for the economy class.
So while I try to stay under $150 a month, (not counting supps), I usually go over. I usually spend between 150-200.
I have been working overtime every week for the last seven weeks because we're understaffed at my work. We're supposed to get a new guy this week, so that will be a releif.
I put in my order with 1fast400 on Tuesday, so it should be here in a few more days. I ordered 2 tubs of Muscle Milk(gotta love it!) and 4 pounds of Prosport protein, so I'll consider myself stocked for a few weeks in the supplements dept. The regular protein from Optimum makes me wanna puke!

Tank, I wanna come over to your house and kill a cow too!
Nothings quite as satisfying as a big juicy steak.

Premo55, I'm gettin hungry just lookin at your weekly list. Holy crap!

^ You serious? My list is full of the blandest food. Well. I make them bland. I boil all my chicken and broil all my beef.

Once was, this is my 'dressing', it really makes eating veggies somewhat enjoyable for me:
- 50 ml ACV
- 50 ml water
- one pack Splenda
- one teaspoon paprika

Pour liberally over your salad. I don't know, I like it. People think I'm weird. The entire thing only has 4 calories, though, which is great.

Peace.

Do you use this for salads and regular veggies(brocolli etc.)
