You must admit that Kobe has the potential to suceed MJ, as blasphemous as that may sound to you. It was the same for us old dudes when others suggested that MJ might be better than Magic, Doc, Kareem or Larry.
As far as playing with Shaq, the Orlando Magic didn't come close to getting a championship while Shaq was there, so you can't rightfully say Kobe is riding Shaq's coattails. As I said before, the jury is still out on this one, Kobe has many years left to play if he stays healthy and out of trouble. |
