Hey all.. I'm Brad. Umm.. well here's a little info on me: I'm 5'7", 170 lbs., 22 years old. I started lifting about 2 years ago when I was on an Army deployment (had nothing else to do, so I figured why not build some muscle). I started at a small 140 lb. frame, did some homework and got ahold of some great products (Cell Tech being my favorite), started eating like there was no tomorrow, did intense, exhausting workouts and over the course of 2 months I put on 25 lbs. of mass, increased my max bench from 160 to 245 lbs., and received reccomendations for an Army Acheivement Medal because of my dedication and progress (Did get the medal, but for different reasons). There are, of course, more details to my sucess but you get the point (and no I'm not talking about anything illegal, the closest I came was Andro and I quit using it because it gave me the shakes). Sadly, for the past year I have done very very little in continuing to stay in good shape, but in a few days that is changing because I'm buying some equipment and am reorganizing my schedule to fit the time needed to get in shape again.
My goals are to start and maintain a healthy diet, get on a well-balanced weight training schedule, and by July of this year, have put on another 15-20 pounds of muscle mass. Why did I join this forum? Well because I don't know everything, and often have questions that I've found a few answers to already on this forum. Don't know if this really tells you too much about me other than fitness acheivments and goals, but too bad.

Yeah I don't know if that is an unreasonable goal or not, but I'm gonna do my best. I know I've taken one good step by joining this forum! You'll all have to straighten my newbie a$$ out, and perhaps a good start toward that would be a reccomendation as to where I can find a good bench (anywhere from $100-$300). I saw a really cheap one, the Golds Gym XR 15 that looked okay, but I need some better suggestions.
