Also, what is your current bodyfat %? It might be possible to drop weight classes if you're a little overweight. The higher weight class you go upto, the tougher the weights are going to be. The winner of this years THSPA (Texas High School Powerlifthing Association) Championship in the 165's for 5A had a total of 1,420. This is REALLY strong for this weight class so I wouldn't give up hope yet
