Gotta be peanut butter. Its got near perfect ratios. You could build or cut on 6-20 table spoons of PB. What do you think the perfect food item is (you can only have 1). I carry PB with me where ever I go. Meal on a spoon.

Oatmeal

Oats = my favourite food, even though I probably can't call its a self-sufficient bodybuilding food. I'd say wild salmon is probably the perfect bodybuilding food. Cottage cheese is a good one, lean steak, chicken breast....Of course I could just cheat and say MRPs.

Peace.

I thought cottage cheese at first but not enough carbs for me

Posted by: Premo55

Wild salmon! Healthy fats to slow gastric emptying and high quality protein.

Peace.

Big thick Cheeseburger

But thick juicy steak will do too

Or a nice juicy pound of Lobster Tail would work....

That is a wonderful idea .
but you need all types of protein, fats, carbs you can get.

Oatmeal would be pretty good....if only it were a complete protein. PB would kick ass but no carbs.

I like Jodi's idea - COTTAGE CHEESE....especially if I could muster up some peanut butter for it

Posted by: Premo55

That was my idea.
Hmph.
Haha.

Peace.

Pretty good taste, but way too much sodium.

Maybe I'm misreading this question.... But to me I'm interpretting it as like you're stranded on a desert island or something and you can only have one food item.. Most of you chose "oatmeal"

Boy if we were all on the desert island together and you guys chose oatmeal as your only food item, I think you would soon be some sorry individuals for making that decision

You guys/gals have been working out much to long

I even tried to mix in sugar free syrup. Tasted better, but I don't want to have to do that every time.

I actually like Cream of Wheat somewhat but have never heard of Cream of Buckwheat. Is that a REAL product?

Ice Cream

Posted by: JJJ

I want to be on the same "desert island " as greeky and her ice cream.

Posted by: seabee

You get one food item...and you are a bodybuilder (building & cutting cycles...for say 1 year). My PB has 10grms protein & carbs per giant spoon (150 cal), higher fat/oils though. A buger on bun is closer than salmon or oatmeal as the perfect ratios. Yogurt actually might have perfect ratios w/o much fat. Ice cream? Sorrry.

Posted by: seabee

You can never get those damn posts back!!! "Burger."

Posted by: jaim91

Are you allowed different FLAVOURS/ brands of yogurt? Because yogurt itself it one food item, and then you can just add variety... Am I taking this too seriously? (What's better beef jerkey or ice cream..?lol, sorry greeky)

Posted by: seabee

Yogurt may be the perfect food for near perfect ratios. Ya gotta pick a flavor, 91.

Posted by: MikeyTony12

Cottage Cheese....(personally I love the taste), but no matter how you look at it, lots of high quality protein (whey!), moderate to low carbs, and there are varieties with 0 fat, low fat, and regular for those who are bulking. Also, if there are people who need more carbs, there are low fat varieties with pineapple or peaches (Hood brand). Also, there are low sodium variety for people watching their sodium...

Posted by: seabee

True.

Posted by: jaim91

Yogurt doesn't provide any sustenance. I would need about 100 (or so) for one meal to keep m full. Maybe...astro fruit bottom so I could get my fats, carbs, and protein in..and cute little fruit pieces at the bottom (STRAWBERRY flavour).

best fast food: wendys chili

Posted by: X Ring

Posted by: greekblondechic

Sugar Free Protein Ice Cream w/ Oaties and Mixed Nuts on Top
