We are portageing and right now, I need to lose 35 pounds and strengthen my body as I'm not in shape and I am very weak. I really need help now and I don't know how to attain my goal. This is suppose to be a bodybuilding site so I hope for some great help!

we need stats, current diet, current training.

30 or so lbs in 4 months is fairly reasonalbe IMO, but you have to have everything spot on to achieve this.

start resistance training. exrx.net is an awesome site which lists almost all of the basic exercises that you should be doing, along with an illustration of proper exercise form. Read the stickies at the top of the training and diet forums, for the newbie advice, it will give you a decent foundation of knowledge and everything will make much more sense. Also seeing as you are a fairly sedentary person, that 35lbs is a very achievable goal as long as you keep up with your diet (from now on, its a lifestyle, not a diet) and training.

The Losing weight part might be easier to acheive, but the problem is if you get stronger it means you gain muscle, which is more dense than fatwhat i have noticed since i got diet in order after my initial weight loss... my weight has gone up but i look much more "slim" and "tight" even though my weight has stayed the same or gone up
