provide nutritious veggies for vitamins, minerals, fiber, enzymes ,etc.

now a question for you- WHAT do you put on your salad(dressing) and what does it include???
a lot of salads can get very unhealthy with croutons, bacon bits, fatty cheeses, and dressings.

there are a lot of veggies which can lose nutrients on cut surfaces by extended exposure to air...fresh salads are the way to go

i make a salad every night for my 8:00 feeding, it includes mixed greenleaf veggies, cucumber, red onions, tomatoes, celery, and either a can of tuna, salmon, or some diced up chicken. i use 2 tbs. of newmans own light balsamic vinagerette ( 4 grams fat), and i add some pepper and some other random spice, the italian mrs. dash works really well.
