Bodybuilding is a passion of mine along with completing school and becoming a certified personal trainer. I read and here so much about bodybuilders and steeroids. Is their any hope for us natural creatine and protein bodybuilders? Or is the sport just gone that far down the drain where steeroids are part of everyday life along with shortening life span by many years? Please help, no matter what people say I am still gonna train to the point of blood sweat and tears to become what I want to be. And no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE will tell me any different!

I dont understand this post. Are you in BB to compete? Or are you in it to be the best YOU can be, and push yourself as far as genetically possible?

I dont understand either, but fyi to be a IFBB pro you must be juicen.

I dont think you must juice. I think its genetics all the way, and I believe you can do it naturally.

IFBB pro? There are natural pro's. But they are nothing compared to the ones who use gear.

Answer my first Q's?

Yes, you have to have the genetics first and foremost, but sorry to break the news to ya you cannot become an IFBB pro naturally, and even if by chance you got your pro card naturally by winning the NPC Team Universe, you would not go any further without drugs. There is just no way you could compete against the roid monsters, they would dwarf you beyond belief.

A better route to take would be the WNBF, there you could succeed as a natural pro, unfortuantely you will not be able to make a living doing it.

I wanna compete and be a bodybuilder

It depends how far you want to go, if you want to be a pro bodybuilder in the Olympia, then you can forget being natural.

Be a personal trainer and be happy, if you dont want to juice then dont. You are looking at several years of hardcore eating, juicing and training before you even get considered for that. Look how many people there are up on stage there, and how many never ever make it, the prospects are not exactly good to making it to the top unless you are willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING to get there. This includes using diuretics and not drinking water for 24 hours before your event, lots of little tricks like this are used to come in looking .005% better than the guy they stand next to, and sometimes it kills a couple of them.

Diuretics kill bodybuilders, not steroids. Any steroidal health problems from using them like a maniac, are not often seen immediately. I know an amateur competitor who gets his blood work done every 2 months, this way you keep yourself in check and respond accordingly.

Yeah I thought that too when I was 18 reading those moronic magazines. There are hundreds or thousands of juicers who face frustration even when taking breaks between cycles, staying clean the whole time? Its a nice dream but a laughable one.

Even juicing hardly anyone would ever hold a candle to a pro.

Now that I am older, I can't see how anyone could ever believe that it is within the realm of human achievement or genetic code for anyone to come in ripped at 300 pounds, that is way, way outside of natural.
