At the moment I am trying to bulk up a little, but at the same time I would mind losing a little flab. I am 160lbs, with 21% bodyfat.
I posted a post kinda similar to this about a week ago, but I didn't really post in detail about my workout.
I basically do 3 days a week of weights, for about an hour, and 2/3 days a week of cardio, I jog about 4 miles, it takes about 25/30 minutes, but becuase my main goal is bulking, I obviously have to consume more food, which is going to add to my body fat.
In the last thread I posted, I was told to lift heavy, because having more muscle helps burn fat I was told, so I have changed my workout, and I am lifting more weight now.
Will this work? Or should I maybe just concentrate more on bulking. I can't try to lose the body fat first, otherwise I will drop more weight, and I ain't exactly big at the moment, the two things I have going for me is that I am very fit cardio wise, and I am quite strong, especially for my size.
If I keep bulking, I will build myself up in time, but I really also wanna shift the flab from my hips, belly and ass.
Any help, as always will be greatly appreciated.

Carrying around more muscle will mean that your body burns more fat...even at rest. If you're new to training, you may find that you're able to add muscle and lose fat at the same time. This is the only time in your life you'll be able to do that without drugs. Dont rely too much on cardio. Its should be used sparingly (especially when bulking) because you tend to burn a lot of muscle doing it. Do a search on HIIT. Thats the only cardio I'd recommend if you're trying to bulk. I dont do any cardio at all when bulking.

If I were you, I would focus more on leaning out first. Maybe to about 11 or 12 percet BF. Once you lean out, you can do a bulk, but make it decently clean, to where your BF wont go over a certain point. (Carb Cycling is great for this)
I would recommend weights, 4-5 times per week, each bodypart 1 to 2 times per week. Cardio would be around 3 times per week, HIIT would probably be your best bet.
A think a good routine would be...
Mon: Weights
Tue: Weights
Wed: Cardio
Thur: Weights
Fri: Weights
Sat: Cardio (Am AND Pm) 2x
Sun: Rest
There are many formulas you can find on this forum about calories, protein, carb req. etc.
I would recommend 1.2 grams per pound of bodyweight in Protein, and as far as other supps, a good multivitamin, Creatine, and Sesathin would be great.

Yes, adding muscle will cause your basal metabolism to speed up. But note that to build muscle requires hormones. Hormones are transported via fat. The more muscle you get, the more fat you have to carry.

Do you think that I should cut the days I do cardio down to 2 a week, but do more i.e. jog further, and incoporate the HIIT into my run?

If you're going to do cardio at all, do HIIT.
