How do you make a bald head glisten?

I went bald about two years ago and I love it, but I've seen some dudes who have nice looking scalps, almost like they've been polished or something. Does anyone know of a product that gives that nice glow?

try 800 grit sand paper and wet sand your head.

Jk I think that is from natural balding. Why do you want a glare on your head?

Ask Allbald,he has been bald all of his life!!!
That's if he can talk, after his Flyers lost tonight,it might take him a long time to recover from dat, imagine if he had hair before tonight's game, once the game was over,he'd be bald.

Me,I don't know,check the dero pic gallery,
you'll understand why...

BTW that's albob.

Everybody is a comedian. Can I get a witness here? Or am I the only one with the chrome dome? I guess I'll need to call Charles Barkley or G. Gordon Liddy to see what their secret is. My wife loves my head, I just want to make it as nice as can be for her.

Maybe one of the ladies with a bald boyfriend/hubby will post up.

No,no,no,I was serious about albob!!!

Okay, I'll check with Albob and dero, thanks.

Maybe they're just naturally greasy.

How about one of those skinlights-type lotions? That would give you a nice glow, if you're not embarrassed to cruise round the cosmetics department.

from what i have seen the shine only comes if you are naturally bald or you wax your head.

shaving seems to leave it less glossy.

my old roomate was balding a bit in the front so he shaved the rest of his head....only the front part was shiny though.

what method do you use...shave or wax?

I shave. What you said makes sense. What made me think of this is watching Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson and Kenny Smith on the TNT NBA halftime show. All those guys had heads as smooth as cue balls.

MY handsome adorable HOT boyfriend is bald and his head is shiny naturally, I DO think it's because it's natural ballding where the shine is. If he didnt shave his whole head he would have the monk look, ya know what I mean? He does rub Nads soothing lotion on it though

Now that' what I'm talking about. From looking at your avatar (sweet), and knowing my wife, we bald guys do pretty good with the ladies. Thanks for the info.

Lol, sigh, the life of a famous person

I think I found the answer: a pumice stone works wonders.

How could I have missed this thread?

True, the parts of your scalp that are naturally bald will shine better than that which has been shaved, but all hope is not lost. You stumbled on one source of shine, a pumice stone, but that's a bit harsh. I shave everyday BEFORE getting in the shower. While I'm showering I use something called a Buff Puff. If you've ever seen a green scrubbie pad you'll know exactly what a Buff Puff is. (The Buff Puff's a hell of a lot softer though.) You can find them in the facial soap section of most grocery stores or Wal-Mart type stores. Basically it's an exfoliant that is great for your head and face.

P.S. to Dero: Piss off about the Flyers.

Thanks for the advice. The pumice stone is working (I don't scrub real hard), but I'll keep my eye out for the Buff Puff. What do you apply to your dome after showering?

I don’t know what pumice stone is, but if it works for you, great. I personally don’t worry about getting a shine. I work on not getting any blemishes. That’s why I recommend cocoa butter with vitamin E. I also shave with Aveno shaving crème.

I use a nice after-shave lotion, sometime I use cocoa butter too. I'll have to check out Aveno. Thanks.

I'm bald too. Been shaving about 9 years. Its all pretty much gone on top. My skin is oily, so I have to blot it with a damp towel a couple times a day. I have a problem NOT being shiny. I like it shiny, but dry not oily shiny. You could use witch hazel or alcohol to shine it up. I once read that if you run cold water over your head in the shower when you're done, that will shine up the skin. I wouldn't use any oils or wax though, as those could clog pores and cause breakouts.

I'm sort of in a similar boat with Minotaur, my skin is rather oily so I don't put anything on after showering. Just scrub up with the Buff Puff and I'm good to go.

The pumice stone and springtime sun are working wonders for me right now. I've had a few beautiful women rub my head recently whom I didn't even know.
