adding pics to gallery

I know there is a lot involved in the change amd I have read all the post in re: but I didn't find anything about this.
I was trying to upload some pics to my gallery and keep getting

Can we get more space to post photos in our gallerys?

if you have run out of space you really should reduce the size of your images, sounds like they are quite large in size.
I will take a look at current disk usage, maybe I will increase.
