I have been doing a full body routine for about a year and am wanting to change to a split routine, preferably a 3-day one. My question is, what is the best way to do a 3-day split? ie. what body parts on what days.

there are many variations.
I break mine up into 4 days:
Back/traps
Bis/Tris
Legs
Chest/Shoulders

Although the order is different, my split is the same.
Monday: Chest, Shoulders
Tuesday: Back, Traps
Thursday: Arms
Friday: Legs

i do a 3 days split:
monday: chest/biceps/shoulder
wednesday: back/triceps
friday: legs
