Hey guys ..i recently dicovered the phenomena of flax ..so wanna try it out .. but I am confused that should I use flax seed or flax oil? Can someone please guide me in this matter...Thanks

Either or is fine. However, flax seeds will provide alot of fiber and are they are better for you than the oil. Grind your own if you choose to go that route.

I have no clue how much you need. Figure out the macros and work it into to your plan

I usually try to have two servings of it per day, plus a little fish oil from sardines, and some olive oil and other healthy oils. Make sure to get your fat from a variety of sources.

You'll have to grind 3 Tablespoons of whole flax to equal 1 Tablespoon of oil. You should not grind anymore than you need in order to prevent oxidation and rancidity... if you do grind it all in one shot at least store it in the fridge in order to slow the enzymatic break-down. If you buy "pre-ground" flax buy the stuff that is vacuum-packed otherwise it'll be oxidized/rancid before it ever leaves the retailers shelf.

That stuff goes bad indeed. You can also get Flax high lignan, which is oil with some seed casings.

Yes, high lignan flax oil is better than standard flax oil.
