What do you play, organized or recreational?

I played roller and street hockey for about ten years, but gave it up a few years ago because I got bored with it. I felt like I was not getting any better (and I was pretty damn good ). Currently, I don't play any organized sports, but I am planning on doing some amateur mountain bike racing next Spring. I also golf, ski, and play a little softball.

Oh, I played midget football as a kid (QB). And I also played one year of Babe Ruth league baseball, but I won't talk about that (it was uuuuuug-ly!!).

I play football at the community college here in my town. I also on the track and field team. My events are Shotput and Discus. I use to play ice hockey when I was younger around 4th grade, but I moved to california where ice hockey is rare thing.

The only sport i play on a regular basis now is Golf. In the summer time i play once a week at least sometimes twice a week. I love to snow ski too, but since i moved to NC three years ago i havent been able to go much. I used to play basketball and football with a bunch of people i worked with, but unfortunately most of them got laid off or no longer work in our main office.

I played little league baseball as a kid, but i sucked. I think the only reason i got the play time i did as a kid was because my dad was out coach. He always put me in the outfield though. It s OK though, because i had more fun goofing off on the bench with the other guys.

I sure as hell dont know what i would think or do if i was fishing on the riverbank and i saw a 5' 7'' 240+lb, skinhead guy just swim up stream right past me. That would be weird.

I used to play roller hockey on a team. I played for about 4 years and just got tired of it. Now I just like to bodybuild and go four wheeling in the mud.

Newbie here.

I play:

Baseball. Adult recreational league (MABL) that has leagues around the country, and a World Series tournament in Phoenix every year. I played college ball and scouted by a few Major League teams.

Golf. Love this game. Hate this game. Damn it's hard, but damn is it fun!

Moutain Biking. My new passion. I've been riding now for three years. I ride mainly cross-country, but occassionally downhill.

Basketball. I love to ball anytime.

Wiffle Ball. Classic game whether you play baseball or not!

Basketball. Its fun and is a great workout.

I play Rugby a couple of times a year for the LSU Alumni Team (Go Tigers, SEC Football Champs and Sugar Bowl Winners). I also started running 7 years ago and started triathlons last year. I have also played volleyball on an adult recreational team, High School Football and Little League Baseball.

I'm a rock climber.

Now, there is the un-sport part of climbing, personal climbing. Outdoors.

Then there is competition climbing. Which is when it actually becomes a sport.

I do both.

Posted by: dragonfu

i do the cruiser class in bmx good cardio but hell when you eat one takes a lot longer to recover these days like rock climbing but only have the local bouldering wall and tower at the park they get pissed when you climb on the old churches working out at ironheads gym

I'm glad you're sticking to your standards, buddy.

I do the gym thing. Play basketball, tennis, softball, fish and chase critters in the woods during the fall. I used to golf, but it got too expensive to stay consistent. I'll do raquet ball and squash when available.

Posted by: dragonfu

what kinda critters do you chase? 4 legged or 2 legged i used to hunt a lot but most of the people i know can't hunt without a bottle or six pack a few years back had a hunter get shot in a tree stand gotta get me one of those tree deer

Reckon they're worth the effort? I bet you wouldn't get a good tenderloin off any of them.

I chase 4 legged critters over in GA. I lived on Kodiak Island Ak for a few years, so didn't ever step foot in a treestand until the jungles of Georgia.

Can be pretty spooky hunting with juiced up hunters around. I don't drink alcohol and neither do any of my hunting partners. I try to avoid public land also.
