Hello, i recently heard about this supplement and how it has banned in many major competitive sporting events the past few years, is this supplement illegal for an everyday person to take?thanks

It makes the body produce more red blood cells, increasing oxygen flow, resulting in longer endurance. You usually see cyclists and other endurance atheletes using it.
It can be pretty dangerous, though. I vaguely recall something about an overdose in rabbits causing their blood to literally start to congeal and solidify from all the red blood cells.

hmm, the coveted increase in red blood cells. i remember stories of athletes dying awhile back b/c the got the bright idea of: having a pint of blood drawn, waiting the appropriate time, reintroducing extracted pint-o-blood, having heart attack, dying. the latter two were unplanned but happened none-the-less. in other words, don't fuck around with your red blood cells. they are too important for sustaining life.
