plain yogurt + granola = acceptable night snack?

is 8 oz of plain yogurt and 1 cup granola ok for a final meal at night?

590 calories
17.5g fat
82g carb
8g fiber
30g sugar ( )
25g protein

probably not a very good idea, is it?

I wouldnt want the carbs and sugar before bed. Unless of course your workouts are late night.

i wish they made yogurt with even less sugar. but itd probably be super nasty by that point.

one 8 oz thing of regular flavored yogurt (not plain) had like 42 g of sugar! yikes!

I go high EFA / Calorie / Protein before bed. PB, Cottage Cheese, etc.

I buy diet yogurt. You can find some brands sweetened with either aspertame or splenda. They are both REAL yummy. I bet you'd never know the diff

I have no clue what "diet" yogurt is, but there are brands of low carb yogurt made with Splenda out such as Dannon's CarbControl, Yoplait's Ultra, and I guess Hood has one out too that I haven't seen.

Regardless of the yogurt, the granola at night is not going to be your best choice

Cottage cheese and PB would be better.
