So me, the wife, and a friend of ours took a ride into Boston this past Saturday night to attend the Bruins/Flyers game. I hadn't been to an NHL game since the Whalers relocated. I forgot how great live NHL action is. We were five rows from the ice in a corner. We saw five goals and two fights right in front of us. Awesome stuff!! Man, the action is so fast and so loud. Television does a hockey game no justice.

Flyers won 5-2. The Bruins scored on a shorthanded two-on-none break. How often does that happen???

No wonder you had such a good time.

A friend had season tickets to the Huricanes when they played in Greensboro. The stadium is less than 10 minutes from the office. We used to go to quite a few home games. You are right though, TV just dosent do it justice. Live hockey is so much fun.

hockey is the most exciting sport to see live. especially if your go to a flyers - devils game at the first union center . just don't show up wearing red and black.

How about showing up at First Union for a Flyers-Rangers game wearing Red, White and Blue #88. THAT would raise some eyebrows!!! I'm waiting for the Broad Street Bullies to come out west so I can invade someone elses territory with my Orange and Black.

I used to live in Vegas and pretty much all the bars align themselves with one or another pro football team. I loved going into the opponents bar on Sunday wearing my Eagles jersey. What an a$$hole.
