simple question: Liver Count?

How do I go about getting my liver count, and what exactly am I lookng for? Just got insurance. Should I call my doc and ask for bloodwork. Tell him what? I am on PH? Does insurance pay for this lab work?

In my country he would just take my blood to test it, then I call a week later and he says everything is OK.
But I think you couls also get the paper with all those issues necessary to know...

Here you just go to a doctor and he will not ask anything whar I need it for, I dont know what the situation is the US or where U live, however...
