You don't even know if Kobe is gonna be playin ball in the future and you let arguably the best coach ever go along with the most dominant player?! not very wise but we will see how that works out for them I guess. I don't think Malone will be back, but I think that Payton will have a much more productive year with Jackson gone which is good.
Great points. It will be interesting to see how Laker's will be Shaq-less but I wonder whose going to fill that void and we all know that Minnesota's chances now are going to increase immensley with Shaq in the east again. (if it happens) My friend thinks Shaq is going to Dallas. -So word has it the Shaq accepted the trade to the heat for Brian Grant and Lamar Odom along with a first round draft pick. If I were eth heat I wouldn't have made the trade. Lamar Odom is the best player on that team by far and is extremely underrated, probably b/c of spending so much time in Clipper land. He is versatile and can pop and face up, he can play with his back to the basket, and he is athletic as hell, I really like him and wouldn't trade him, but thats just me. Shaq is getting old, and has nagging injuries that are only gonna get worse, and we never know what kind of shape he is gonna show up in. The up side is that Miami will defn sell more tickets if it does go down..lol Miami will NOT be the same and Shaq is going to be Big-huge-large Daddy and is going to tear up South Beach! In a business sense, you're right, Miami needs Shaq in all ways and you know where their is Shaq, others in all industries will follow! -The Tracy McGrady Trade to Houston I think is a great trade for Houston, although they had to give up Mobley, they get Howard as well. Houston really has a chance to step ti up next year with Ming maturing and a scorer like T-mac. I don't know about Howard. He's not the same player he used to be while he was in Washington. -Dallas made a pick up that no one is talkin about, they traded Jamison, who for some reason was comin off the bench in Dallas, and picked up Stackhouse. They didn't really address any weak points for themselves and they seem to just try and throw as many scorers on the team as possible. I don't really understand it but if I were Dallas, I would be going after Shaq very aggressively. See above.... my friend thinks this is happening.... so whats the word, whos gonna play where next year, what would you all do with the Laker mess? let it be known..peace |

| My home town Seattle Sonics are once again going to lose a good player with no fight and let Brent Barry sign with the Spurs. This is gonna be a HUGE signing for San An. I have watched Brent Barry play the last few years in Seattle and let me tell you, this cat can play. Besides being at the top of the league every year in 3 pt percentage, he can play the point as well, he makes great decisions in open court and loves the up tempo game. he is very athletic and quick, he is like a white Scottie Pippen. his downfall is that his Dfense isn't great, but he will be a great pick up for San Antonio. |

| -Atlanta is gonna pick up Al Harrington for Stephen Jackson which is nice for ATL. I thouhgt that Harrington fit well in Indiana and I like him alot. Jackson did play very well as a Hawk thou, picked up 18 a game so we will see how that works out. |
), which they sorely missed last couple of years. But even assuming Kobe will be back next year, they're still a big guy short of truly being competitive.
