well, what'chall think about whos gonna land where. Rudy T officially is the Lakers coach next year which I think is a good move, just about the only good move the Lakers have made lately IMO. I would've traded Kobe and kept diesel personally. You don't even know if Kobe is gonna be playin ball in the future and you let arguably the best coach ever go along with the most dominant player?! not very wise but we will see how that works out for them I guess. I don't think Malone will be back, but I think that Payton will have a much more productive year with Jackson gone which is good.

-So word has it the Shaq accepted the trade to the heat for Brian Grant and Lamar Odom along with a first round draft pick. If I were eth heat I wouldn't have made the trade. Lamar Odom is the best player on that team by far and is extremely underrated, probably b/c of spending so much time in Clipper land. He is versatile and can pop and face up, he can play with his back to the basket, and he is athletic as hell, I really like him and wouldn't trade him, but thats just me. Shaq is getting old, and has nagging injuries that are only gonna get worse, and we never know what kind of shape he is gonna show up in. The up side is that Miami will defn sell more tickets if it does go down..lol

-My home town Seattle Sonics are once again going to lose a good player with no fight and let Brent Barry sign with the Spurs. This is gonna be a HUGE signing for San An. I have watched Brent Barry play the last few years in Seattle and let me tell you, this cat can play. Besides being at the top of the league every year in 3 pt percentage, he can play the point as well, he makes great decisions in open court and loves the up tempo game. he is very athletic and quick, he is like a white Scottie Pippen. his downfall is that his Dfense isn't great, but he will be a great pick up for San Antonio.

-The Tracy McGrady Trade to Houston I think is a great trade for Houston, although they had to give up Mobley, they get Howard as well. Houston really has a chance to step ti up next year with Ming maturing and a scorer like T-mac.

-Dallas made a pick up that no one is talkin about, they traded Jamison, who for some reason was comin off the bench in Dallas, and picked up Stackhouse. They didn't really address any weak points for themselves and they seem to just try and throw as many scorers on the team as possible. I don't really understand it but if I were Dallas, I would be going after Shaq very aggressively.

-Atlanta is gonna pick up Al Harrington for Stephen Jackson which is nice for ATL. I thouhgt that Harrington fit well in Indiana and I like him alot. Jackson did play very well as a Hawk thou, picked up 18 a game so we will see how that works out.

so whats the word, whos gonna play where next year, what would you all do with the Laker mess? let it be known..peace

Great points. It will be interesting to see how Laker's will be Shaq-less but I wonder whose going to fill that void and we all know that Minnesota's chances now are going to increase immensley with Shaq in the east again. (if it happens) My friend thinks Shaq is going to Dallas.

Miami will NOT be the same and Shaq is going to be Big-huge-large Daddy and is going to tear up South Beach! In a business sense, you're right, Miami needs Shaq in all ways and you know where their is Shaq, others in all industries will follow!

I don't know about Howard. He's not the same player he used to be while he was in Washington.

See above.... my friend thinks this is happening....

I agree. I wouldnt want Shaq at this point in his career. For being as old as he is, he thinks way too much of himself, and his contract takes up way to much space for how much time he has left being dominant. Sure hes still the best center in the league, but how many championships is he gonna win in Miami? 0 Buds.

Kobe has about 10 years of dominance left, and will only get better. However, he will have to learn how to play without someone like Shaq taking up so much of the defense. Watch defenses swarm Kobe into the lowest shooting percentage year since his rookie year. Its gonna be tough on the kid.

Im really excited about Barry coming to SA. Along with resigining Manu, and getting Bowen for next to nothing, I think SA has really done a good job so far this post season. Ill tell you one thing, Barry is gonna drain 3's like nobodys business with all the open looks hes gonna get from Duncan.

This will be interesting. They lost some good players, but gained some good ones too. Can McGrady step up and play to his abilities this year? Should be easier with Yao in the middle.

Dallas always makes senseless offseason moves for more offensive firepower. Last year everyone talked about Jamison coming to town, but they arent very impressive defensively to say the least. Without some defensive firepower, they arent contenders, period.

I love Steph Jackson. Hes a bit careless with the ball, but a clutch shooter. If Indiana gets him, theyll have some added firepower. Al Harrinton is nice in ATL, but ATL still isnt nice over-all.

LA is gonna have HUGE headaches competing with all those talented big men in the West. That being said, I think they got the better of the deal w/Miami. They get youth & athleticism (except for Grant ), which they sorely missed last couple of years. But even assuming Kobe will be back next year, they're still a big guy short of truly being competitive.

Miami is making out huge this off-season. If no one wants Shaq, Miami will take him. D WADE is going to have a field day with all his open looks. Eddie Jones will now have a lot more open looks. Rumor has it, we might land Rasheed, and throw in some other guy and we have a solid squad. Mark my words, Eastern Conference Champs! As for the NBA champs.....we will see. I will make that prediction when I see who else Miami picks up.

I hope Carlos Boozer signs that contract with Utah then blows out his fucking knee in training camp. That shitstick.
