Hi all. Just a lil about me:

I'm 19, 5'5, about 125lbs and started working out roughly 6 weeks ago. I belong to a pretty good gym here called Washington Sports Club. In 6 weeks I have gone from somewhat flabby to more toned, being in better physical condition, and have begun to develop some visible muscles in the arm and chest area as well as my legs.

The workout i was doing was similar to the one I use to do in "gym" class in high school years ago. 15 minutes on the bike which usually gets me 5.75 miles, 20-30 minutes of weights (machines mostly, they have this lil program set up to do full body workouts) and then finished with a breezy jog of a mile, usually taking 15 minutes, 10 if i push it a bit harder (i remember being able to do a 5 minute mile, i wanna get back there).

Just last week I decided it was time to get more serious. I have just started to create a weekly routine for myself, eating slightly better, taking my vitamins and all that good stuff. I just want to get into shape for when i go back to school in the fall, need some impressing to do, haha.

I'm here to learn mostly diet related information. It seems so complicated. Anyone who says bodybuilders are dumb or that jocks are dumb has never tried to calculate a meal plan like these guys do. I mostly wanna have killer abs (as well as actual strength, not just flashy strength, if that makes sense) but its hard when a)working alot b)not having lots of money c) im just a picky eater, can't eat fish, makes me gag (some how, i am both a and b, odd). I can't afford to eat steak 3 times a week, let alone a day. And i don't really have the time to cook chicken too often. But somehow, im gonna make this work. Any tips would be welcome. Thanks all.

thats a great idea. any perticular sauces u recomend? I'm partial to bar-b-q but i don't imagine they make a good bar-b-q sauce that is healthy.
