Is 289 carbs daily pretty high for a cutting diet? I Just started to cut and was wandering if this is too high. Im 6'0 25 male and weigh about 165.

I think so.
I wouldnt go that high at your weight.
But then again , Im all for lower carbs.

it depends upon you and your metabolism. Is 289g less than what you were previously consuming daily? would you consider yourself to have a fast, normal or slow metabolism?

it also depends on how it is balanced with the other macro's and how many total calories you're consuming

When I first started cutting, I was melting away fat eating over 300g of carbs per day. I was the same weight. I was quite active, though.

Acitivity levels play a huge role as well.

There are a lot of factors to consider. From your lifestyle to your own body.

Nutrition is to be very much individualized...too high for others can be a bare minimum for some.

289 carbs is alot less then what i was consuming. I Love carbs. I ate alot of pizza, bread and other things that have carbs in it. I recently stopped because i noticed i was gaining more fat around my lower ab area. I am an ecto/endo.

If its less than what you were eating and you are losing fat then don't change a thing.
