The first thing when you type that into google is:

http://www.csa.com/hottopics/thyroid/overview.html

I'm sure most of the most knowledgable people on this forum already know all about the subject, but I learned so much from this...specially since I experienced basically all the things associated with low th levels due to my earlier dieting habits

One of those cases in which ignorance is far from bliss

I figured other people might benefit from reading it, specially those creating dangerously low calorie deficits or that have been in one for too long.

It applies to your energy levels, fat burning, how you sleep, muscle development and training, your nutrition and so much more

After reading this, I truly understand what Tom Venuto means by BURNING the fat, not starving it.

Now I'm moving on to reading the Leptin at Avant Labs, heh

See, I knew the basics of how one's nutrition can effect energy levels, muscle building/recovery, fat burning, metabolism, etc...and I had some vain idea of the thyroid's role in all that

but I just had no clue as to how involved the thyroid truly was in basically...EVERYTHING. Specially when pertaining to our bodybuilding goals.

This article even shone light on my previous battles with depression, why I've always had problems with fatigue (and why once I started eating properly my energy levels were excellent and why they eventually crashed), even why I couldn't jump as high as when I was fatter as well as why a person I know did everything possible to lose weight yet kept on gaining it, specially once she started taking birth control pills, ha

sorry, learning on my own excites me cause I never understood concepts this well when I was in school

Excellent!! we never stop learning! and the more that we take on ourselves to learn, the better!

You know, I always hit a patch in my cutting diet when I think I start to experience depressed th...that's when I know I've been a bit too extreme.

Peace.
