Is this any good for a pwo shake? Today I had,

2 scoops of Op nutrition whey /w water
Dextrose (not sure on grms)
2 rice cakes with Natty peanut butter

Anything else I can add to this shake?
stats - 29, 5'7", 155lbs. Just trying to bulk (i guess).

My post workout recovery drink is very similar. I add 50g whey protein isolate, 50g dextrose, 5-10g creatine to a 20 oz shaker cup. I add water, shake vigorously and drink immediately. If I have L-glutimine I will add 5-10g also.

how about either the dextrose or rice cakes? and NO PEANUT BUTTER!! No fats in the post workout shake, this will slow digestion..carbs and lean protein only.

for dextrose measuring purposes- 1Tbs has approx 17g carbs.

thanks, I totally forgot about the fats slowing digestion.
