How much of a dosage for L-Arginine to make it a good NO supplement?

Craig says 3 to 4 grams on am empty stomach.

I use 6 grams in the am upon waking and another 6 grams before bed...

Dale........how is your experiment going?

Posted by: TheRoyalOne

I had excellent results with 3g 3x's/day. I've heard of athletes going as high as 20g/day.

Great now I am really confused. Any of this backed science?

Going well, my BP has dropped drastically. I am definitely more veiny than before and sleep is alot better. I wouldn't say the vascularity change is huge, but the BP drop is quite nice. I am actually considering dropping the dose to get a feel for what that will do.

Here is a link to some dosage requirements. I did have a scientific study conducted on some college athletes and their response to L-Argine but I can't find it. A google search on it will turn up a lot a valid studies.

Arginine "can" have a stimulatory effect on some people so not everyone can take it at night.....if you can it is supposed to help with GH release so give it a shot.

I do 3-4 grams of arginine in am on empty stomach and 5g GABA before bed....seems to be working quite well.

Would I sound like a total idiot if I asked what NO is? I tried a search, but no luck.

Thanks,

I just started taking NO2, been lifting for about 2 months solid now. I don't drink while taking it because my liver is already fucked up from drinking with anti-depressants. Anyways, I like to get high at nights.... I don't eat after I smoke and it doesn't effect my workouts because at night time I'm already done working out for the day.

My question is, is smoking weed with NO2 counter productive physically? I heard that smoking weed closes your veins, and NO2 opens your veins... which would be counter productive in my eyes. I want to get the full effects of this "cycle" because I spent good money on it.

I've already tried researching and I couldn't find anything, I'm sure someone here knows ... there seem to be a lot of intelligent and experienced people on this forum. Please reply back if you are 100% sure about what I'm asking. And if you have any other tips on how I could benefit from NO2 please feel free to tell me, it'd help me out a lot

Thanks for your time!

uhhhhh chuckie? I think you got more issues than counterproductiveness in NO and open veins. dude, you got issues.

Posted by: squanto

why does he have issues? im sorry that just confused me a lot.
i dont use NO but i do smoke pot and it doesnt seem to affect my lifting. but if pot closes your veins and NO opens them, there would seem to be an advantage to taking it... if you think closed veins hurts your lifting. ive honestly never heard of pot "closing veins" or having any negative effects while lifting, but i could be wrong
