Has any one here ever have one or known some body that did have one.
I have lost over 30lbs of muscle in 8 months and have been treated from depression to low testosterone to IBS, hypothyroid. This all started back in novemeber when I had sushi and with in a week later a got runs/constipation and then stomach got really hot to the touch like there was an infection. about 2 weeks later my stomah started to get really bloated as well and it would garlgle chruned ever time I ate. I really started to get very constipated and taking in 4500 caloires and not digesting it wasn;t helping this. I started to know I was have having anxtiety for no appearant reasons and i would have emtional out breaks i never had before. With in a few more week my body temperature started to drop in the 96 degree range. I was constanty cold and very pale with distended stomach. At this time my weight started to decreaase and I ws losing muscle tone ery quickly. I just felt like I was sooo depleted. Dr ordered me a colonsopy showed nothing but white spots but they never took a biosopy or anything. They gave me more laxatives and antidepresseant and itmade me feel worse after 4 weeks. Mean while I was having hypothyroid problems but all my t-3, t-4 levels were perfect, my testosteron was in the shitter but thats all that was wrong. I went to another dr and they labeled me anorexa .. I was like WTF. Here now 6 months into this i had to leave work becuase I was mentally incaable of performing my job for 2 months. I had learning disablilities and hard time rememberin and my motor skills where very slow. after 8 months I have found a dr that ran ever test known human to man and told me :i am healthier then a horse, but i continue to loose weight and create new food allergies rather quickly. We just ran a stool sample and I am praying they find some thing in there other wise I don;t know who to consult. I do notice if i take lots of garlic my stomach and intestines go ape shit like it was pissed off or aggravated it. My butt has been itching for no appearant reason at night time but not during the day time. Its very strange. Into my research everything I seem to have is coming from a vitamin b deficiency. Could I just have a vit B deficency from all the caffine and supplements i took during contest time? I did not think that was even posssible. If nothing is found in the stool test it may be advisiable to goto a stomach specialist to see what is causing malabsoption if it is an intrisic factory possible. ANy help would be much appreciated

butt itching is a common sign of some type of parasitic infection...possibly tape worms of some sort....there are several natural cleanses designed to deal with these issues so i would look into that....espeacially before you take some of the "controlled" poisons given by the MD's for parasites. (of course this may be your only option...just try the more conservative route first)

that kind of weight loss is NEVER a good sign....so keep searching....you will figure out what it is eventually...could be as simple as a thyroid problem or parasite.....or it could be much worse. Keep us posted....and good luck!

Some people, luckily not me cuz I love the stuff, get severe rectal itching from coffee.
A neighbor of ours ate some bad food at a picnic and had symptoms very similar to what you describe, it was a prolonged illness too and at one point they even suspected it was cancer. Turned out it was a type of food poisoning. He's not home right now but I'll find out later and post exactly what it was.

I just want some thing to kill it. I am using parastoy, raw pumpkins seeds tumeric, garlic, and everything else I can get my hands on. It was just so perfect timing after the contest when body was down and it was suspectible to infection. i am seeing what looks like little spheghetti things in my stools, but i am wondering if that is just undigested food particle. but i never have pasta of any kind. Thyroid it is not becuase my full panel test are perfect and everything is in top 90%, testosterone perfect, dr told me I am healthy as a horse if some one would read my results. I have come to 2 possible conclusions. 1 parasites 2 lack of b complex drained from so much caffine and just excelerated body functions. I even had them test ofr h pylori, metals. 3. Lack of neurotransmitters from lack of b-12 conversion . this is very common with fish tapeworm found in raw under cooked meat

fish tapeworm usually resides in the small intestines so a colonoscopy may not catch it. it is easily found by checking stools (3 sets of stool sent off for ova and parasites.)
Treatment is with single dose niclosamide

I looked at my stool and there what looks like to be small speghetti like structures abut 1 inch long thin like angel hair pasta. I also see little red dots, but not like blood but just small bright circular objects like a size of small rice grit. I think my intestinal is a host to many organisms. I hope the stool test can find some thing other wards i don't know where to turn to next

I've had digestive problems for several years now and have used a few parasite cleaning supplements that caused me to pass parasites including a few organisms that sound exactly like you describe, only a little thicker. I would say there is a very good chance you have parasites, possibly even a tapeworm. Actually, your post sounded just like me. I'd get bloating and gurgling after most meals, had problems with garlic, and low energy and poor memory. Based on the timing, sounds like the fish you ate had parasites.

I used paragone, which I got at the Vitamin Shoppe and it worked great. Actually, the 1st few days I took it I got one of the worst headaches ever, thought I was allergic to it but kept it up, eventually it went away. I've read that this can be from a die-off reaction, when unwanted organisms are killed off they can release byproducts that are toxic and irritating to us.

Another thing to take if you suspect a tapeworm, take 3 grams of coenzyme q-10 at one time, on an empty stomach. Yes, it is expensive, but several people have sworm by this method to rid themselves of a tapeworm, more informaiton is available from the controversial Dr. Hulda Clark (who's info is sometimes sound, but I remain skeptical on many of her claims), although this method has worked for me, and many over at www.curezone.com .

I used to think I was allergic to garlic, as I had horrible gas, diarrhea and bloating after eating it. After cleaning myself out for several months, I seem to tolerate it just fine, and actually take aged garlic (Kyolic) daily as garlic is a great natural antibiotic, and I suspect my reaction to it was actually in reaction to killing organisms in my gut.

Taking a b complex is easy enough to see if it helps, but having a candida infection can interfere w/ absorption of some of the b vitamins. I use natrols b-100 complex. To eliminate candida check out Dr. Crook's book, "The Yeast COnnection", this can cause many digestive problems as well. Also 5g glutamine, 2x a day on an empty stomach is very useful at healing the gut and eliminating sugar cravings.

I'd say no to any protein supplements, especially any with casein. whey protein is generally healthier b/c it raises glutathione levels and is less allergenic than casein. Your best bet is to stick mainly to real food.

Also, buy any books by Dr. Sherry Rogers, Poliquin is a huge fan of her writings and many of his recommendations are from what she uses. Things such as frequent coffee enemas (these will likely help you as well, by causing the gallbladder to empty, detox the liver which coffee enemas have been proven to do, and empty out undigested food from the large intestines that would just sit there and feed parasites and organisms that you don't want to feed. Two of Dr. Roger's best books are "No More Heartburn" (deals with ALL digestive issues)and has a chapter on candida, and "Detoxify Or Die" which deals with eliminating environmental toxins, which can have a big impact on our bodies functioning, especially our endocrine system.

I'd also suggest a good probiotics like Vital-10, Kyodophilus, MultiDophilus or if you have the money, Primal Defense. Diet advice on these conditions vary, but it makes the most sense, since sugar/starch feeds parasites/candida/fungus/etc. that you should be on a sugar-free, starch free diet, and eat mostly protein and fat, with minimal carbs from green vegetables (not even fruit, which has simple sugars) I can go on, but these are a few things that have helped me tremendously. Supplement with organic coconut oil and cod liver/fish oil and evening primrose oil along with fat in meats, fish and eggs. One last thing, and this has had a huge impact on my digestion, doing a liver flush every 2 weeks. Check out that curezone site and read up on doing the olive oil, epsom salt liver flush. I truly passed large sized, solid gallstones. I've modified the recommendations for a bodybuilder or weightlifter, if you need more info let me know. Good luck to you.

how did you know you passed parasites? i thought you couldn't see parasites..but you can see tapeworms or segments.

Hey nails I thought I had an intestinal infection or something cause I was having the runs for like three months straight. It got so bad my ass would bleed due to hemorroids from shitting so much...my ass would itch too. So anyways they did a lot of tests and found nothing...even after doing stool samples that looked like they were taken from an alien. A nurse practitioner saw me and had more blood work done and at the last minute asked for hep test to be ran with my blood...well it turns out I had Hepatitis A and my body was really badly effected by it. I would sleep for 20 hrs a day on the weekends and 12-14 hrs all week. I couldn't function or workout for the longest. I kept eating and drinking a ton in order to not drop weight. My stomach would gurgle all day long and make noises and so on...well Doc told me that everyones symptoms of Hep A can vary in severity. So anyways its almost ran its coarse through me and I'm much better. Still have the occasional shits but not nearly what it was. I feel about 80% and rapidly getting better. Once you've had Hep A you can never get it again. So thats the bright side. Hep A is from eating food that someone prepared after shitting and not washing their hands....so chances are some dirty fuck at a restaurant got me sick...So it may be worth having yourself checked for Hep A.

Oh and to add to the last post I had a lot of weird looking stuff in my shit and sometimes my food looked like it didn't get digested all the way...So get that checked if you havn't already.

i have been having tissue looking things in my stools and From my research and talking to pete69 it turns out to be yeast. I have been bithcing to drs that i had a yeast infection and they just turn and laugh at me. Well they will be laughing when I slap a law suit on them for mal practice. I told them when I originally went in there that I had a colon infection. They did not further research no stool sample or further research to follow up. Instead they gave me laxatives and see me in 4 weeks. What kind of treat ment is that. Then on second visit they gave me diflucan at 150 mgs a day. I nicely told them for yeast infection i needed 400-500 mgs a day and they just chuckeled. And said where did you hear that non sense. I pulled out a copy of the PDR and said "its in here" they shut right up. Like I said i am a drs worst night mare. I just got my blood results back and my pregnenolone levels where not even measureable. So I politely asked dr what are they used for and he said "oh its a woman thing" I was not satified with the answer so i did research. I flipped when I read what it was for. Pregenenolone is the precursor to all the hormones made in the body from cortisol to testosterone. Both of which I am low in. I dug further and found that when cortisol is high pregenenolone runs low from adrenals then in order to compensate it "steals pregenolone from being used for testosterone as back up and when that supply is exhausted it goes for the thyroid hormones. So people wonder why over training lower testosterone there is your answer. Prolong Stress will depelete pregnenolone levels to the point of total exhaustion and just leave you feelng like a bag of shit with no energy and brain dead as hell. So people with low testosterone may want to ck preg levels becuase if the raw material is not there there will be hormones lacking as well.

regular docs do not usually look for parasites. If you are in an HMO, they are like the fast food of doctors, just take this pill and go away. For run of the mill stuff it works, but if you are outside of the normal stuff, they won't pick up on it.

Look at your local health food store (Jimbos or Henry's) for alternative doctors and ask them if there is anyone in your area who checks for parasites. some of the parasites are really hard to get rid of.
