Where to buy bulk starch?

Where can I buy maltodextrin or dextrose in bulk for cheap. Tired of gatorade and it's sucrose. I want high glycemic carbs (100+ GI). And I do mean bulk.

Yeah, but the only straight dextrose they have is 2 lbs. I am looking for bulk. Of course, they have the Carbo Gain 7lb., too. But shipping will get pricey if I start ordering 5 of those at a time. I want like a freakin' potato sack you have to throw over your shoulder. Bulk!

Why do you need so much of it? 10lbs should come to about $15, plus it a lot easier to just open one of those 2lb bags the dextrose comes in at the time than going thru a 50lb of dextrose in a big ass sack if you ask me. I think your best bet it going to be around town, ask at a health food store or something. They may guide you in the right direction

Thanks for the link! I should probably shop local to avoid shipping cost, but I will look into it. Yeah, I don't really need a huge sack, just looking to save $$. Shipping is the only problem with Bulknutrition, when you go over 10 lbs.

This link is exactly what I was looking for! Free shipping after $69 purchase. I am buying 100 lbs. shipped for $70. Now that is more than a potato sack! Who thought you could get 100 lbs of anything shipped for free. Hope it doesn't taste bad.

I get my maltodextrin from Trueprotein.com - it's $2.25/lb and lower in higher volume.

Yeah, it is priced well. I just found out that they won't give me free shipping because I have an "overweight order" (at the link I was so happy to have a minute ago--HerbsMD).

How much is the shipping at trueprotien? I can't seem to find that info...

Shipping is calculated on the weight of your order, I don't think they offer flat rates. I recently purchased 3lbs of maltodextrin and 3lbs of micellar casein and was charged $5.00 shipping (UPS).

I did a bunch of shopping around--including all the sites you gentlemen gave me--and it appears that for dextrose, Bulknutrition still has the best deal, despite shipping. If I can't find a better deal locally, I'll go with them. Thanks for the help!
