Agreed, these feel great. But does one "need" to do them no. Does one "need" to workout..no..we do it b/c we want to. They are a great excersize in my opinion but you don't need to do them, thats what makes this stuff so great you can pick and choose what you want to do.

I'm so happy somebody brought this up.

Is this better for lats or for chest?

I have seen this done for both. I would say I see it equally included in chest workouts and lats.

They are great for both lats and chest, but require slightly different forms. I use pullovers every week, but switch them between chest and back workouts. For the lats I will go a little lighter in weight, keep the arms a bit straighter, and stretch further back and away from my head. For chest I go heavier, keep the elbows slightly more bent, and stretch more downward toward the ground. Part of where you feel it more is mental as well, as you need to almost "control" where you pull the weight from.

Very well said and very true. Form is one thing as well as the mental portion. I find mental more of a factor then form to me b/c once you know what your working your body will ussually move your arms in a manner that it will work that specific muscle.
