gynecomestia surgery...yikes!

hey guys, i had my yearly physical with my doctor last week and i mentioned to him my problem with the fat in the chest, also known as gyno. he told me that since im 18, i probably have gynecomestia because most young males do have gyno til their about 13, then it goes away. But since im 18 and it still hasnt gone away, i probably need plastic-comestic surgery. Do any of you know what the surgery will be like? Or what will happen afterwords, if its fatal or hurts a lot? If any of u know anything about gynecomestia surgery, please tell.....thanks.

what is your body fat % ? before even considering surgey I would get down to single digit body fat...

Definatly attempt dropping your body fat as much as possible to see if that will fix you. It didn't for me, I got to 9.3% and I still held fat on my chest. I don't know if its gyno or not but I figured if I build my chest up more then the fat will be dispersed amongst the larger muscle. This will hopefully tighten up my chest some and it wont look so weird. I will never get surgery unless its my last option.

Cosmetic surgery at 18? Unless your condition is impinging some how on your frame of mind....dude let it go, or do like the gentleman above mentioned...drop some Lbs, and then grow a magnificent set of pectorals
