Started a full body workout since I have not lifted in about 9-10 yrs. I would to do this for 4-6 weeks then switch to a split routine to put on some muscle mass and tone up since I lost about 13-15 lbs and I'm going on a cruise in March 05. Right now I'm using a GNC Whey Protein. I have read some bad comments about GNC products. I have read about Nitro-Tech and Optimum Nutritions 100% Whey Protein, can someone help me out with protein powders? I don't want to look like a body builder but should I try a mass builder powder or stay away from it?

Taking protein isnt gonna make you look like a bodybuilder. That usually takes a few good years of training, and a great diet, not to mention other factors.
Nitro-Tech is commonly viewed as a ridiculously overpriced protein for what it is worth. You can get quality supplements for half the price at
Protein recommendations usually go anywhere from a minimum of 1 gram per pound of bodyweight up to 2 grams per pound of bodyweight. Most people believe 1 lb per pound is sufficient, however, for myself, I try to get closer to 1.5 to 2.
Carbs/Fats have more to do with what your immediate goal is , whether to put on mass or lean up.
