Little piece of shit should be taken out back and beaten to within and inch of his life.

think there are two things happening here: 1) The rest of the world is catching up to the USA in terms of hoops skills. Basketball is not just an American sport, it's played with passion all over the world. The apparent gap in talent that the original Dream Team opened up is getting smaller as other countries get better at hoops. I think that's a GOOD thing. Eventually the best players in the world will all end up in the NBA, so it'll make for higher quality play in the US. 2) Those European teams are exactly that: TEAMS. Give our guys a chance to play together longer and they'll get better. I'd like to see what would happen if we sent the Detroit Pistons to the Olympics instead of a collection of stars. ANY ONE of our NBA teams would win the gold medal, even the Warriors. |
