Broken jaw?

Is it possible to have a broken jaw, and not know it? Reason I ask is I havent been able to close/clench my jaw for 2 days now, without excruciating pain. Its fine to just sit there, but if I move it side to side or front to back, the pain returns. I am able to eat ok... unless I bite down weird or all the way.

Any advice is appreciated.

Have you done anything to it buddy? Yeah, it's possible. It's also possible it's just dislocated but I'd think you'd have known that you did something to it. Hope it gets better

Me and 3 friends got jumped Sat night. 2 ended up in the hospital, and I hurt my jaw and shoulder.

Damn! Sorry to hear that man. 3 friends and I got jumped by 8-10 guys a couple years ago after going out to the bars. I got ROYALLY fucked up. Broken nose, swollen head...looked like a piece of meat. I know how much it sucks.

What happened? Why did they jump you? Its gotta be over a woman, right?

Var, it was at a house party, and the whole thing started because a kid wouldnt pay for a keg cup. He decided that he could just take one, and with me in charge of the cups, it wasnt good idea. It all started in the kitchen, then it went outside. Come to find out, most of the people there were his friends, and we got jumped by 8-10 also. I am glad I wasnt drinking, or I probably would have been hurt a lot worse. I am also pissed that I have been sick lately, because if I was still 25lbs heavier I dont think he would have tried a damn thing.

Sucks man! Imagine being 5'6. People dont think twice about starting shit with ya. I was about 135lbs when I got jumped. Definitely would fair better now. Wish I could go back in time and beat those fuckers heads in!

I broke my jaw twice, not fun. I had to have all my food put through a food processor to be able to eat it.
