Just wondering if anyone has used this before or has any info on it. They (HM Gear) claim that it is the perfect anti estrogen product and that it jumpstarts your HPTA. But i have read on here and elsewhere that it is actually a weak androgen and will negatively affect your HPTA. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I'd stick with good old fashioned Nolvadex. It has great research behind it and you can get quality liquid versions for $25. Aromabolan PCT is around $60.

Androgen metabolites and low aromatase inhibition (comparatively).
If youre going to use an AI, just use androstenetrione. Formestane is fine on-cycle... its a cheap alternative to something like 6oxo. But i wouldnt use it for PCT.

A study of the aromatase inhibitor 4-hydroxy-androstenedione (4-OHA) was conducted in normal healthy men to compare the oral administration of two preparations of the drug: an unformulated, micronized powder and a formulated microcrystalline material (CGP 32349). The formulated material achieved a significantly higher mean peak concentration (88% greater than that obtained using the unformulated powder) and a higher mean AUC (not significant). The median time to peak was 1.5 h for both preparations and the elimination rate constants were similar (0.31 for micronized 4-OHA and 0.36 h-1 for formulated 4-OHA). Plasma concentrations of 4-OHA in this group were markedly lower than those previously observed in postmenopausal breast cancer patients. Significant biological activity was demonstrated with the formulated material in its suppression of plasma oestradiol levels, whereas no significant suppression was obtained using the micronized powder. An increase in androgen levels was observed that may have been due to competitive inhibition of enzymes involved in metabolic clearance of androgens and/or to decreased feedback inhibition of gonadotrophin secretion by oestradiol.

For the large majority of people that I deal with, Formestane works quite nicely for PCT. I have used it both times I did methyl cycles and never lost a pound after I came off.

As an oral, too?
I mean, the deal with the androgen metabolites could be overstated a bit, as theres some conflicting information, but when there's something else out there thats just as effective, why take the risk?

Yes, as an oral. 6-OXO does not do it for me, but formestane does.

How are you guaging the recovery, btw? Sex drive stays up after PCT? Boys are hangin low?

What about something like Legal Gear's Formadrol? Its got 4OH Androstenedione and Diadzin. I'm currently thinking about that for my next PCT.
