i am looking to put on some muscle so i can look good and hang out with my boys that play football and not be looked at as the "little guy."

The best 'supplement' by far for putting on size is food. You didn't even mention your diet, which is even more important then training itself. Do you think Ronnie Coleman or NFL players get their size from eating a paltry diet, and just taking supplements?
