I have a new diet plan, The breakfast is:

Oats 1 1/4 c
Milk 2 c
plus raisons and nuts

My questions are : what does the 'c' stand for -- 100 grams or 1 cup? 200 ml of milk seems all right but 2 cups is excessive.

Is eating so much oats going to make me fat? Before I used to eat 100gr (3 ounces) of oats for breakfast and my dietrician told me to eats fewer oats (about 1 ounce) and drink a cup of milk.

I am trying to get rid of my pot belly and gain muscle/strength.

Advice appreciated. Thanks.

is that the measurment of oats before cooked(raw) or after cooked?

If your goal is fatloss I would cut back on the milk.. add in more protein like egg whites, protein powder(many mix it in with their oats as well).
You also may opt not to add the raisins(high in sugars) and only a small amount of the nuts.

milk is high on the insulin index. for many it should be completely eleminated from the diet when fat loss is the main goal.

oats and milk is definetly not a good idea when dieting down...

I Cook my oats in water, and 1 1/4 cups of oats is a shitload of oats. You will have a hard time losing that belly with that meal.. What happened to the protein ??
