I know, and i can't stand rolled oats they taste different to me, so I just eat the quaker stuff

Rolled oats are better for you than instant oatmeal. Do a search and you will see all the different posts on it but the low down is that Rolled Oats are lower GI than instant oats and much more nutritious because of having more fiber.

ya same, besides the difference between the two is like .7 grams of fiber of something I can't remember..I'm trying to cut down on my fiber I'm usually eat around 60 grams of fiber a day.

lol I know but I find such a big taste difference, I've tried to eat rolled oats, hell I prepared it 3 or 4 different ways just to make sure that there was an option for me to eat it. But no matter what I do i find it's disgusting I can only get through half the bowl before i feel like I'm gonna vomit.
Does anyone else beside me find a taste difference?

Yes! I thought it was just me for a while. I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast with a scoop or 2 of protien powder and a little flax oil (hides the taste.) I really like the McCann's Irish Oatmeal (gold box.) It's done in about a minute in the microwave and mixes very smooth. The Quaker never seems to mix right. I think it needs more cook time, and I'm just not patient enough.

Have patience, the Quaker Old-Fashions Oats only takes about 5 or 6 minutes in the microwave.

ya but still, they tatse nasty, the oatmeal stuff is so much better, and they have the exact same nutrition information, the only diff is that rolled oats have a GI and I don't think having some oatmeal instead of rolled oats in your siet is gonna kill you, this is basically a lifestyle change, so if you like something that's generally healthy then theres no problem to eat it

Today was the first time I tried the Rolled Oats instead of the quaker old fashonined (non instant) oat.. and I can taste the difference.. the rolled oats taste more natural (more oat flavor) comparing to the one I used
