Oh yeah, Canada will be playing for the gold medal at the World Junior Hockey Championships on Friday, too bad I have to go away and I can't watch it.

How do you think Canada's Olympic chances are looking? Looks like the USA might actually have a good team this year. And the Czech Republic is always strong.

I'm praying for two things:

#1 The top teams play that way. The U.S. and Canada SUCKED in Nagano. I understand it's difficult to throw all those individuals together without much practice and expect them to perform up to NHL standards, but the last games were an embarrassment to both countries.

#2 Speaking of embarrassments, I hope the U.S. team show more class. The dorm incident is still a black eye on American hockey because the guilty parties still haven't shown the guts to step forward and appologize. That's disgusting.

I think Canada's Olympic team looks real good, barring any major injuries we should be a force to be reckoned with. The US is, like Canada, a major threat and I'm sure they will be hungry after Nagano. A dream game for Gold would be Canada vs USA, can you imagine the talent on the ice?

I think maybe Canada took it for granted that they would win in Nagano, hopefully they learned a lesson. The Czech's looked good in Nagano as well as Finland or Sweden I can't remember which one.

The dorm incident by the US team was embarrassing, and I can't understand why someone didn't take control of the situation and pay for the damages and try to keep it under wraps. Oh well.

And since the combined I.Q. of the Canadian team isn't high enough to operate a can of Whoopass the U.S. team would OPEN the can and send it back from whence it came. Then we'd calmly stroll to the gold medal platform and collect our gold medals.

Are you and I going to start this now. Either you or your wife could kick my ass with both hands tied behind your backs, but when it comes to a battle of wits you can't do it TOGETHER! Especially when you're fighting a lost cause like the Canadian team beating the U.S. team at hockey. I WILL WIN!!! THE U.S. WILL WIN!!! Does the US even have any hockey players?? It seems to me that most US teams consist of Canadian, russian or swiss playsers.

Have you noticed the US waited until the Canadian team was announced before selecting their team? You know why? I'll TELL YOU WHY! Because they want to know how many cases of Depends they are gonna need beforehand when the US team shits itself.

Scotty the Body, there are a few US players, but we generally lend them our talent until the Olympics role around.

Depends?!?!? That's what they're gonna use to wipe up the ice after the Canadian team is reduced to nothing more than puddles of blood out there.

It would be great to see Canada and USA playing for gold. On paper I would say Canada has the stronger team but unfortunately the game isn`t played on paper. Canada`s strong core of defensemen will be the key difference in the two teams. I`ll put my money on the canucks!
