How stupid I am. This is to all the newbies out there that are trying to bulk. I do a lot of training on the weight pile. here I am trying to bulk and in doing so have found my old jeans getting tight around tme waist. Although i workout 4-5 days aweek and do cardio 20 min's 4 days a week I've gained 18 lbs in 16 days. Yes I'm juicing. I do stay around 3500 calories a day 350 grams of protein and carbs.

Well here's the kicker. After looking at a lot of the post I decided I wanted a balance of 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% total fat. I went back to the last two weeks of my daily food intake and started counting the grams of FAT. To my surprise I have been consuming between 150-200 grams of fat. Now I know why when i looked in the mirror why not only did i look bigger in the arms and chest, but also around the waist

Gentleman, If you are doing what I've been doing the last few weeks counting calories, protein, carbs and picking up an inch around the waist, i suggest looking at the total picture which includes counting those fat grams

Thanks tom. I revamped my diet today. It will be as follows. 3850 cal's
420 gr carbs
365 gr protein
80 gr fat

that sounds alot better also remeber to keep saturated fats low, and aim for at least 38 grams of fiber a day.

who cares if you put on some BF man, if you are really serisou about bulking then it shouldn't concern you as long as it is within reason. I mean you need to be taking advantage of the anabolic state and put on as much weight as possible. When its time to clean it up then you begin cutting and thats whan you can worry about the abs. I am from the school of thought that says when you bulk, you need to do it right and do it all the way. Putting on muscle if much harder thanb cutting fat for the most part. can you feel me TG? your gonna put on some fat whne bulking, juts like when making an ommelette yoru gonna break some shells maYn. if you are trying to do a bulk and cut at the same time your gonna hinder your gains IMO.Should you eat good healthy foods, sure. I am not saying pig the fucc out until you look like a slob, but the cals should be pumped up big time. take advantage of the increased protien synthesis and everything else that comes with having high T levels and milk it for what its worth, ya dig? Beside you should also remember that your running relatively a high androgenic drug at relatively high dose, esp considering the homeostasis of a 50 yr old male. My point, don't trip about some BF, you can clean it up later. do it right playa.. peace

When it came to my bulking cycle I decided to not give a crap about gaining fat. I ate pretty much whatever I wanted, within reason.

Sure, I got a little chubby, but I also got damn strong. I can work the fat off later via diet and cardio.

its easier for me to do so, because I am skinny to begin with but yeah ive been eating anything and everything in site, and increasing the protein. Ive gained about 6lb in 2 weeks.
