so basically after the two meetings the sox picked up absolutely zero ground as they both split the series 3-3. sundays game was over before it started, saturdays game was a fluke, fridays game was moer how it will be if the two teams meet in the ALCS again this year. so basically the two pitchers the yanks have to watch out for are Schilling and Wakefield.

yes, they took the season series and i give them credit but it was mostly due to them taking 6 out of the first 7 games in the series this year (when the yanks were playing awful).

should be interesting to see how the playoff matchups work out this year. currently the yanks would play the a's and boston would get the twins and redhot santana! yanks get them for 3 games starting tonight and i'm just wondering how they are gonna approach this series.

IAB, i think it is also funny how so many people get so fired up over a game. yes, i truly love my yanks but at the same time if they win the world series i'm estatic and if they don't it is always who are they going to pick up in the offseason to make the team even better. i'm sure it is not secret that they will be going after starting pitching and we have all been debating if the Boss will chase pedro! damm, that still sounds weird even debating it
