my g/f of just over a year would like to meet up with her girlfriends b/f when he comes to hong kong. my g/f claims that her girlfriend told her to meet up with him when he comes to hong kong.

my g/f has never met this guy. i feel that if she wanted to meet the b/f of her girlfriends' that she should bring me. i think this is both reasonable & normal.

vice versa, wouldn't it be strange if i told my g/f for example, that my guy friend who is in the states wants me to meet up with his g/f when she comes to hong kong and i don't want to bring her???

my g/f however feels that this is fine.

anyways, she will not be meeting him now, but i said that just making the request in the first place wasn't good.

It's really hard to tell from a short post on a msg board. My wife once went on a cruise without me. I trust her 100% so I told her to go. But then some of the things she did/said leading up to it got kinda fishy and the sum of all of them made me blow my top. I don't think she did anything wrong now but at the time maybe I was reading into things too much.

On the other hand, if nothing was going on, her response should have been for you to come along, not drop it altogether. So like I said....it's hard to tell.

You were bound to have an emotional reaction to that one ... but what you do with those feelings is what defines the success or failure of your relationship.
