Hi all...new member here

Hello all,

New member here but not new to lifiting. I've been working out for over 20 years now. Played sports in high school but left myself go during my 20's. At age 30 I was weighing close to 250 pounds and squeezing into 40's. I hit rock bottom and realized I needed to whip myself into shape, so I started running, took lifting more seriously and went on the Atkins Diet. I eventually got down to 175 pounds.

I turn 35 next week. Presently, I weigh around 190...I've been able to put on some muscle these past couple of years. I have a set of weights in my basement and hit each body part once a week. 6 days a week I run 4 miles.

I don't ever plan on competing; I simply want to keep in shape as I'm getting older. Hoping to get some routines and advice to help me keep a 'youthful' appearance.

Welcome, I too let myself go, turned 34 and decided it was time to change. Went from a lazy lard butt at 280 down to 213 pounds and competed in my first contest this past may. Stick with it and you never know, you just might want to compete!!!
