I hate how they always beat Boston. I hate how their fans talk shit about 1918, when i was born in 1981. I hate how they always seem to get lucky. I hate how Steinbrenner buys every player in baseball. I hate how every Yankee fan thinks they know exactly whats wrong with the Red Sox and makes it a point to tell me everyday. I hate Paul O'Neil, Chuck Knoblauch and Scott Brosius. I hate how so many yankee fans come out of the closet right before playoff time.

Again, i never said i don't respect them. You absolutely have to respect teams that year after year seem to beat you. Call me a bitter Boston fan or whatever, i just hate the fuckin' Yankees with all my heart.......

If the yankees picked up Randy Johnson a few weeks ago, i think i was literally gonna quit watching baseball forever. When a team can pick up the best player in all of baseball (Arod), one of the top 5 outfielders in all of baseball(Sheff), one of the top 10 pitchers (K. Brown) and one of the top 25 starters in baseball (Javier), AND THEN go out and try to get one of the top 5 pitchers in baseball? its just ridiculous. nevermind the Red Sox, how can other teams possibly keep up with that?

We got Schilling, but he was our one and only huge pickup, not fifth.

The young adult who kills someone (and it could be you) often starts by shoplifting as a teen in the grocery store.

And with this city in the financial crisis it is in, its sure could use the money for those parking tickets. So don't say "Its just parking tickets".

5. and my absolute favorite one yet is his unpaid parking tickets. Open your eyes, man. There's MANY MANY MANY MANY more serious problems out there than Allen Iverson not paying his parking tickets.

I know all those 16yr old Phili kids who are getting ready to get their licenses are already heading for a path of destruction. First it'll be shoplifting, then drugs, gangs and eventually murder...all b/c of Iverson's parking tickets. Is there any hope at all for America's youth???? God forbid, What if all athletes start parking illegally? This country will certainly go under.

you know it is too funny to sit here and listen to all of these people always talk about how they hate the yankees. so your telling me just because Steinbrenner is the only owner in all of baseball that is willing to put up the money to put the best team on the field you hate them. well if any other owner in the league decided to actually spend money on their rosters instead of lining their own pockets then their team would have a fighting chance. why is it always the yankees fault that all of the best players in the league want to play for them. Hell i will not be surprised if they do get Johnson in the offseason and even look into the possibility of signing Pedro. Wait and see the yanks will sign at least 3 if not more top flight free agents come this offseason!

it is not that most owners cannot afford to pay the players. take a look at the 97 marlins for example. they had a great team with plenty of players who wouldv'e been competitive with any team and yet after winning the series the owners decide they are content and start slashing the payroll and basically giving up. Same thing with the 01 diamondbacks.

most owners just want to take all of the money they are getting from the revenue sharring and put it back into their own pockets. the yanks paid $67mm last year, mets something like $40-$50mm and the sox in the neighborhood of $20-$30mm in revenue sharring and from the looks of things this year not a single team made any dramactic improvements in their payroll. the only team that made any kind of effort (and not good investments) was the O's. yeah they signed free agents and greatly improved their offense but got no pitching to go with it. Tell me this why did it take the O's almost 7 years to invest money again, cause they were lining their own pockets instead of putting a competitive team on the field. and why do you think angelos finally dropped his claim against getting a team in DC, cause MLB is going to pay him a shitload of money to shut him up about losing revenue that he is NOT going to invest in his team.

Take the mariners for example, why all of a sudden are they hurting? Cause they didn't want to make the investment in the players that produced for them. Let's not pay Griffey, A-Rod or Johnson and so forth. Hell they wouldv'e been a force for years even if they just decided to tie up Griffey and A-Rod for long term contracts if they were smart. Just yet another example of the owners just thinking of themselves.

First and foremost is Mike Martz, not an athlete, but talent killer. IMO one of the BEST RB's Marshall Faulk, is totally missused!!!. Martz has totally gone away from the "greatest show on turf". Mark my words, the Rams will NEVER win a superbowl title with Martz at the helm!!!
Second, I can't stand Mr. left field statue, Barry Bonds, aka Mr. Juice head!!! I can't believe all these people who worship him even with the obvious juicing, and they are the same people who crucufied Mcgwire for taking an otc andro that anyone could take. But Bonds takes an undetectable juice-box and now he is GOD to baseball fans. He never hit over 42 HR's in a carreer in his prime, then in his late 30's he all of a sudden hits 73. PLEASE....... NO SHIT!!! I got Marshall Faulk on my fantasy squad. He gets minimal carries nowadays, but EVERY time the fuckin guy touches the ball something good happens. then they get to the goal line and they use Steven Jackson. WTF???

As for Bonds, steroids should not even an issue. DOn't get me wrong, i don't like the fuckin guy. He USED to be my favorite player as a kid, when he was on the Pirates and was part of the killer B's. But now the guys a fuckin prick.

As for the steroids, they don't make a difference. Ok, fine, what do they add 10ft to his homeruns? You gotta take a look at his swing, man. His eye for the ball is absolutely incredible. its not steroids that make his swing so quick and his timing so perfect and his ability to hit the baseball any better. The biggest thing is The guy DOESNT even get any pitches to hit!!!!!!!! Imagine if he played for a team like the Yankees. Where opposing pitchers were forced to pitch to him. You know how many freakin HR's this guy would have???? Look at his OBP, its OUTTA this world. The guy either hits a HR or walks or doubles like every single at bat. Steroids won't help that. And on top of all that, steroids weren't even looked at AT ALL in baseball until the past few years, and they weren't even "illegal" until this year. So i say, so what if guys are juicing? it absolutely DOES NOT help a guy hit HR's. Look at A-Rod. Look at Griffey. Look at so many other guys who are not juicing. Bonds, as much as i hate to admit, may very well be the best hitter of all time (him and Babe are #1 and 2, its just tough to call Babe #2 b/c of what he did in his era)....
