What the hell are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers doing this year?

I know they've lost Joe Jerivicious for the whole year in the summer b/c of back surgery, & Keyshawn was traded to Dallas for Joey Galloway which was a great deal until he injured his groin in the 2nd week, Warren Sapp is a Raider & FS John Lynch is now a Bronco on defense.

But they got Mike Alstott back who is a great help, & Tim Brown from the Raiders along with some younger players.

I just can't see how a team can self-destruct like this?

Tampa IMO should be 3-1 or at least 2-2 at this point in the season. Anymore losses over the next few games & they've completely screwed their playoff hopes if they haven't already.

I'll tell you what's wrong with them. Their offense is terrible. Brad Johnson is finally playing like his normal self, they have NO running game, and at-best mediocre recievers.

Because their O is so bad, their D is ALWAYS on the field. and alls that can happen are bad things...

This I know, I just can't believe it's happening to the 2002 Super Bowl team.

I thought last year was bad & they were just one game out of a wild card spot & this year they will probably be no where near making a wild card a tthis rate.

But I think the WR's Lee & all time great MVP Tim Brown deserve a little more credit than mediocre WR's.

It's ashame that they lost talented WR Joey Galloway for a few weeks b/c of a groin injury, but they don't have a great ground game, the only one who seems to be doing anything is FB Mike Alstott & he can't do it by himself.

I just can't believe this is happening, but you can't give all the blame to
QB Brad Johnson as he's not the whole team.

But it's an on going problem they're having since last year losing a lot of 3, 7 & 10 point games is the problem.

It's not like they're getting blown away by 20 points.

Tbay never really was a good team IMO. The year they went to the superbowl they won those close decisions, last year they lost those close decisions.

They were just a mediocre team who rode catchin' some breaks in the win column

They had a top notch defense in 2002 & a fairly good offense IMO, but yes they did win a lot of close decisions.

Last year what killed them in many close game losses was not being able to pick up short yardage first downs such as 2nd & 2 or 3rd & 1 & that was b/c of the abscence of FB Mike Alstott who in 2002 was the man who almost always managed to get those first downs.

& this year they just don't seem to have a good offensive line to protect QB Brad Johnson, remember you can't always just blame the QB, it's the whole offense.

IMO Tim Brown, the other WR Lee, Brad Johnson & Mike Alstott are the one's working their asses off & still can't get anything done.

What was the point of making that post?

Randy hasn't even replied to this thread nor have you included anything in regards to the Buc's.
