Hello there everyone,
I'm new to this fornum, and a bit new to weight lifting. I'm 22 years old and I'm hovering around 139-144lbs at 67.5 inches. I have a goal to be a bodybuilder someday and maybe even compete if possible. One thing that geared me toward wanting to pursue such a goal is just that I'm tired of being/ feeling small. Tired of being weak, and I figure this is a great way to not only look better but feel much better as well. I want to be in shape. Running half a block shouldn't tire a guy as small as me out to the point of gasping for air, haha. I've tried going to the gym, and as an added incentive, it's free for me, and my job actually requires I stay in shape. I see other guys and see how big some of them are, and wish to look like one of them one day. Methods to getting there always seem to escape me. My biggest problem has been trying to get a program started since I have time afforded to train everyday, but its mandatory for me to go every monday, wednesday and friday morning at least to stretch and then I have 30 mins from there for cardio. But, when I go on my own, I really want to make the most out of my beginning stages. I would go earlier (before everyone piles in there) but I have no program. The time I spent experimenting, I discovered that my lower body responds fairly good to the weight. Eating has been a problem too as to what to eat, how many times a day. Hopefully I didn't go off tangent, but that's my goal.
